riki can solo pretty much any non tanky solo hero once he gets diffusal, unless they have a force staff

Positioning is also important because you want to abuse backstab without getting put in danger zone, which is why Wisp is an extremely good hero to combo with because blink strike is a free stun and then you just stab them over and over. (easy first blood for example)
Smoke cloud is also a great teamfight tool as well as very good at not getting you killed if you have allies nearby.
Also the second you get diffusal you can say "fuck this guy in particular" and get a free kill in the midst of teamfights or while just roaming.

I'm not sure if you're crying "Riki is OP", in which case counterpick one of the billion heroes who has truesight or a reliable stun. Build MKB, stay in groups of 2. Permanent Invisibility isn't even his best ability ironically enough.
If you're crying "Riki is UP", stop relying on Permanent Invisibility and focus on his ability that disables every single hero in the game unless they farm up a 5400 gold item if a Physical Damage Dealer, or a BKB they're prepared to use every time you throw down a Smokescreen if they're a Caster.
even in pubs I don't see Riki stomp that much anymore.

On an unrelated note, when I FIRST played dota2 on my first game ever vs bots I though Riki was some kind of fairy creature thing and the little "Silence" noise that plays when you try to cast a spell while silenced was Riki's voice.

i'm saying riki's a gimmick hero whose sole purpose is to pubstomp, and is so easily countered that if he were to fight any competent team then he'd be pwnt in seconds
but when he pubstomps, he stomps hard, and relentlessly in the orifices
in other news, queued for australia ap/rd at 2am and half the players on my team only got the game today, the enemy team was a fully coordinated team of early pushers and gankers that dunked our tier 3 bot by 15 minutes

Wisp can't solo-stomp pubs, and is much less infuriating to play against. I'm glad he got nerfed, but the Gyro/Naix/Treant nerfs make me MUCH happier.

Unless of course the Riki himself is competent? You have to stop thinking of Riki's strength being his invisibility, and instead focus on his incredibly powerful skillset that makes up for his subpar ult. Namely the ability that, I repeat, disables every single hero in the game in an AoE?
In other news, the Living Armor nerf was fairly incompetent IMO. It's exactly what the spell needed, but they shouldn't have nerfed anything until they buffed the rest of his incredibly awful skillset. He's trash tier now.

Both CM and Rhasta both have strong CC spells, which aren't their ultimates.
If you'd combine that with reliable way to land them without effort they would be OP earlygame.
While on the case: Ever wondered why Axe's base MS is lower than usual? Same thing applies here, would be too strong earlygame.

Rhasta gets to have low MS because he as a powerful AoE nuke, 1 disable, 2nd disable and potentially a ward trap. Giving him high base MS would make all of those way too easy to drop.
CM though, her spells are good, no question about that, but she has little reason to be that slow. I'd understand that if her range and base damage were high, to cut down on lane harassment on top of solid supporting capabilities, but given CD/duration of her disables and really low damage, she could actually use that MS buff.
1 thing I can think of that could be reason for her being slow right now, is potential Crystal Nova harass with her manaregen. But that's frankly nothing compared to KotL's.

But Mjollnir gives a fantastic attack speed boost, which works really well with high damage items like Daedalus or Butterfly.
