I never ever solo queue. Dota is like drinking, fun thing to do with friends, alone it's just depressing.

Playing in a stack is no fun unless you're doing team v team. Having 3-5 people all with mics communicating and working together vs 5 random pubs is just boring as hell. 98% of the time you completely stomp the other team.

Most of the time when I play with 3-5 stacks I get matchmade with other 3-5 stacks and it's hardly ever a complete stomp. But you gotta do what's fun for you. I prefer to play with my friends over random people.

I prefer to play with friends too but I can't stand a game when you're team is 40-12 at 30 minutes. Stomping pubs is so boring, there's no challenge in it.

I'm thinking about streaming over the summer, and I had an idea that might make me shine out a bit more.
Every week, I'd take an hour and explain on stream what I think is a good build for that hero and talk about that hero (sort of like reddit's weekly hero discussions but in video form)
Would anyone watch that? (particularly newer players)

I played a game of Lone Druid today. I solo'd bot and somehow got 5 solo kills. One of which was first blood.
We still lost because they had more carries than us but uh.
3 of those 5 kills were before I even had fucking entangle.

The thing I like about Alc is the sheer flexibility of his building mechanics.
I usually go Quelling Blade > Hand of Midas(Only if I get the money by 6-8 minutes) > Phase or Treads > Battlefury(OPTIONAL) > Skullbasher > Mjollnir > Assault Cuirass > Abyssal.
Or I go QB > HoM(Same concept as previous build) > Treads > Radiance > Heart
Or I just do other weird shit.
