What exactly is the best build for crystal maiden?

I usually max the snare first, then the mana regen, then the slow and only get ult at level 10.

I go snare first if I'm babysitting a jugger/naix etc, then her Q, then aura at 3. Depending on what the lane needs to keep the carry safe or get him an easy kill I go another Q/W, aura at 5, ult 6, then max her Q/W.

Q gives you a bit more damage and it's multi-target but W also raises the stun duration so I think those are completely situational
Same with taking ult at 6 or later

considering spirit breaker has the highest base strength in the game plus formidable gain and it targeting heroes 30% squishier than him and permastunning them, who cares about taking extra damage when you have 100 extra attack speed, 40 more bash damage and lifesteal most damage you take back with your high base damage anyways?

I don't know about you, but in most of my games Spirit Breaker doesn't seem so tanky that he can just gank people willy nilly with a MoM. Whenever he ganks someone, they're not alone and there's usually a large response from the team.

But maybe that's just because I play on very high, but he really feels like not such a tanky hero outside of the early laning phase.

Spirit Breaker is naturally very tanky, and can abuse the hell out of that earlygame. Why give that advantage up and place yourself at an even bigger risk?

SB seems to fall off pretty easy. A somehow fed SB got to 25 really early and still ended up dying to everything he charged into later in the game.

He's a mid-game carry that transitions into a utility hero/initiator late game. You want to build utility items on him because of that, and try to teamfight as much as possible later in the game rather than ganking single targets. His Agh's upgrade is essential because of this; it makes his stun AoE and have an extremely short cooldown (20 seconds).

MoM is good against certain lineups, but Armlet secures a much better place in the late game.

Played my first match with humans together with my little brother. As I expected, all these bot matches he did were for the good, he played moderately well, although he was a bit too slow with stuns sometimes.

Skip ulty until 13/14/16, go something like WQWQEEWQWQEE. If your lane partner owns and people recognise there's more to CM than the mana aura just go WQWQWQWQ and kill fucking everyone.

At least 1 rank into her aura is good for earlygame.
Especially on STR heroes, +1 mana per sec is huge for them with only 1 rank in the aura. It's global too.

outfought a anti-mage in a 1v1, forced both him and a natures prophet to run away from me in a 2v1, tanked almost all the damage in a teamfight between me, phantom assassin, viper vs huskar, pudge, and earthshaker while tanking their tower.

whenever someone ran away i'd call them out and say i'll fist their anus and if i kill them i say "you belong to the trees now"

upon seeing me at all anti-mage blinks away, until i caught him with my ult right next to our tower, used medallion on him, and fisted away.

we lost no towers. i didn't die once.

i don't care, it was so worth it. played a game as a mute omniknight, it was my first good omniknight game and I built as a retarded carry.

armlet, blademail, urn, treads. had to solo safelane for a bit against anti-mage and centuar. died twice but then when dark seer appeared we turned the tides.
