I've been meaning to try Clock out for a while actually, any tips?
Aghs is a fantastic item on clock, great for initiation and escape, I'd recommend building one, along with a mek if your team doesn't have a better mek carrier.
KotL + Anyone really.
I just lost because a team of peruvians/mexicans/ukrainians unpaused when we had an afk
We lost our remaining barracks because of these impatient fucks "dude let us end already"
They should fucking punish for this kind of shit, not because someone was mean and hurt someone feelings

Unless you're with a friend for duo lane stomps, you want a solo lane. Clock can work both mid and offlane, though as a mid you're looking to be a #2-#3 rather than a #3-#4 in offlane.
You'll want to take flare first if you're mid, and rush bottle and phase. If you're offlane, you'll want cogs first.
Start with observers and block the opposing pull camp and ward the ridge for rune control and to keep you safe from ganks. Get a magic stick from the side shop and keep spamming those flares. You're looking to get one last hit per flare, multiple if you're lucky, and some extra harass is perfect on top. Use cogs to escape by attacking one of the cogs right when they spawn to make a safe path away from ganks.
Cogs is extremely versatile. Trap someone in it to kill them if you can 1v1 them at melee range. If not, you're looking to position yourself between the enemy and their escape path. This will spawn the cogs on top of the enemy, causing them to be pushed back, stunned, and have their HP and Mana drained. The remaining cogs will block their escape path, and, with your team, can easily pick off that hero. This combos well with hookshot because the stun is long enough for you to stun -> phase and walk in front of them -> spawn cogs to knock them back -> then either pick them off with your team, or walk next to them with battery assault.
People cannot exit cogs without being stunned and have their HP and mana drained. If you kill a cog and run out of it, they can't do the same without taking the knockback and mana/hp loss.
Generally, I like maxing Flare first, as it gives you the last hitting power to harass and get last hits at the same time. Since you're a melee hero, this is your main method of last hitting. Your base stats are good enough, though, that you can easily go in and get last hits if you feel safe.
Max your first skill after Flare. This is your main killing power. It will stunlock some heroes with bad animations while in cogs, but it also puts out a huge amount of damage over its duration if you can stay near a hero.
Hookshot is your main initiation tool (obviously) and is part of your main combo. Hookshot -> Cogs -> Battery -> Flare -> Autoattacks. This can kill almost any squishy hero solo from the early-midgame.
My favorite build is Stout -> Magic Stick -> Phase -> Magic Wand -> Point Booster -> Agha
Agha is great on clockwerk because it makes your hookshot on a 12 second cooldown, which not only makes it a powerful repeatable stun in fights, but also allows you to hook in and kill someone and hook out of you're pr0.
But yeah, that's my way of playing clock. Good luck, he's not an easy hero to pick up.

Lemme guess, they were also speaking and writing spanish all the way right?

Manaboots, Mek, Aghs, add and remove situationals as needed.
Max Q for isolation kills, it does huge damage vs a single target
Max rocket for nuke/harass
Your Ult is the manliest thing and if you get Aghs you can go where ever you want at a fucktillion miles an hour and kill everything on the way.
You'll need more mana than the boots can provide, bottle is a great pickup in lane.

yep, and I, the 201 gpm sand king had to buy courier, flying, wards, sentries etc and didnt get brown boots until 10 minutes in, and only until i planted sentries down did we get two triple kills, then we still lost because of the unpausing. not to mention i died in a millisecond flat cause all i had was boots, so more than one occasion i died/was stunned at the 1.9 second mark of channeling my ultimate.
safe to say its the worst game i've witnessed in months. it was like the light at the end of a tunnel while you're at 1hp and 1 mana, with a regen rune in the middle of the light, then the light turns out to be a 5 second channelled illuminate with elder titan invis standing next to you and a veil popped on you while youre decrepified, ancient sealed, orchided, decrepified, ethereal formed and have soul catcher on you.
Lemme guess, they were also speaking and writing spanish all the way right?
No, but unpausing on that situation shows how fucking desperate they were for a win
Those people disgust me
Lately when I've been playing Clock I've rarely built an Aghs, actually. Most times a Halberd was much more useful for the same money. But Clockwerk is a really flexible hero (if not THE flexible hero), itemwise as well.

The ult CD lets you initiate, and have it cooled off in time to chase stragglers or escape to a creep wave. And the stats, Hp and Mana are mandatory on Clock.
Just how I feel about it, Aghs is definitely a core for me.

KotL+AM
HOLY SHIT THAT AM KEEPS BLINKING WE CAN'T STOP HIM, GG.
I know that, if I don't need a hero I desperately need to make unable to right-click I go that but every bloody time I play the can'o whoop-ass I feel like a kid in a candy shop
"Oh I could build this, wait maybe that they have a hero X on their team, hmm this would synergize with hero Y on our side, maybe I should just build this thing just for the sake of fun, etc."
Anybody just had a match shit itself? I timed-out and the match flat-out disappeared.

It's happened a couple times this week to me, it's irritating as shit.
Which heroes get significantly better than other heroes depending on the skill discrepancy? Please don't just say Meepo.
Visage. Landing those bird stuns, scouting and split pushing properly are things rarely seen in pubs.

Well the servers are alright for me, worst thing that happens is getting disconnected after the game freezes or getting the red letetrs saying I lost connection, but then it lets me reconnect
Cool another game where the server dies for no reason and I can't reconnect. Fun.
Kotl + kotl for the ultimate laning potential.
I remember going KOTL- Clockwerk with a friend once. I don't remember the other guys in lane ever coming out from under their tower though.
Kotl+CK fun intensifies.

Eww that was like a year ago. Aghans nowadays is useless, only building it for the cooldown is a bit mehhhhhhh.
Only build meca if you have like... No supports at all. Pipe is a way better option for a tanky initiator.
Halberd , as said, is a good item to buid on it because of the disarm & the Str. you can use cogs & the mini-stuns while you disarm the enemy carry therefore rendering it useless

MeePwn & Chen with Domin.Helm.
Drums and a Blademail are still my first pickups.
Blademail is the absolute core for Clock, if you're gonna die initiating, you're gonna go out with a bang.

I'm curious, what was the server you were playing on?

US East or West.

Also i had a 14 mins game yesterday, we were all STR heroes.
We had treant, undying, Spirit Broken (me), sven and sand king
Undying dived like mad the whole time, and i started ganking on level 3, mostly charged troll and lion who were hugging their towers and were low on HP
One of them ended up rage quitting, followed by the rest
And last game the enemy disconnected at 19 mins or so again, Feels like I'm playing with low level players who quit all the time

Undying's earlymidgame potential is so fucking strong I ragequit 90% of my matches against him.
Broken piece of shit

The only broken hero is Dark Seer. Undying is balanced, you only need to shut down the Tumb & the rest is ez
