Cancer Cat still pushes like a motherfucker with nothing but levels. A carry as strong as PL shouldn't be able to flashfarm/push as hard as he does without any items.
Alchemist can piss down PL's throat.
Get a cleave/farm oriented item like Mjollnir or Bfury.
Have fun melting PL's walls of himself.
Whenever I see a naix on the other team I hope we can shut them down early game or at least focus him down in fights.
And then I blink and hes 10 kills up by the 10 minute mark and gg fuck it I quit

If you play against a melee with no ranged harass abilities as Warlock maybe.
Warlock in mid with a bottle would be a 1000% more effective in mid lane to zone out their opponent.
I feel like it is needed, you can just spam stuff constantly and you make sure the enemy doesn't get rune control to go full gank mode.
This is why I think Invoker is a meh mid hero, he doesn't require a bottle at all thanks to Quas, but then the enemy mid gets full rune control unless you got someone else controling the runes, which is unlikely in pub games.

imo the easiest fix for pl would be to cancel his illusion cloning if he's out of range from them

That would make him useless. The best part about him right now is the fact he can effectively be in a fight with his illusions cloning even if he's on the other side of the map/dead.
I think he'd be fine with a tiny agi nerf
Not too big though, people probably don't want to admit it but he was kinda useless trash before the buff

Dunno about that, I've seen people say the same about Nyx when he blatantly wasn't. Same for Lycan being "useless" now.

That'd be cosmetic more so than anything. The buff was significant and slicing off 0.X off of it wouldn't amount to much, just people shutting up for a moment about given hero.
People have a problem with him PL because the most common cause I see is as follows :
PL's laning.
PL wins laning with his partner and nuking from Lance.
PL's lane is forsaken by the enemy.
PL farms up stuff and levels.
Imagine Spectre was left to herself for 10 or so odd minutes because her lane was won. Or Dusa, noone does that though.
So the issue is his prominent laning due to spammable Nuke. However that can't be quite taken away, as most of his other stuff is way too passive. Illusions are proc chance based, Dopplewalk is purely defensive, Agility Growth kicks in later than sooner, nerf the Lance and you got yourself Medusa ,except she has an even more potent Nuke that just needs some aiming/timing.
How about we just wait for patch and see wether such issues are resolved on a side, by introducing new items and balancing out heroes in general, not just particularly Azwraith. New item, upgrade to quelling blade that insta-kills / deals high damage to an illusion with QB's cd ? A buff to gankers in general to promote active mid/early game and make late-game carrying harder ? A buff to heroes that have tools to deal with most concurrent carries (OD with his +dmg vs Illusions ; Bane with his Enfeeble and Grip for Naix, etc).

useless? one of the strongest laners in the game, one of the strongest carries in the game, one of if not the strongest pusher in the game.
him being able push/counterpush with no consequence is his "best part", sure, but by no stretch his only good part

I normally would've gone daed rather than mjolnir.
if you are mid get a bottle for your mana and rune control
get crystalis -> bkb -> daedalus then go for a desolator or some other lategame item

if your enemies are remotely competent they won't let you just run around invis and will in fact be placing sentries and stuff

I see people afk farming and rushing linkens, others going for medallion and boots and ganking

pretty much anyone with a stun can use a blink well
