Not really. His ult is composite damage and if you can land your echo stomp right, it wont even matter if the entire enemy team has BKBs. He's not a carry but he can have a massive influence in a teamfight.

Just me or even his hit sound sounds like a fucking stapler?
Elder Titan is fun despite the fact he has shitty stat gains

You can't go wrong with that, either.

I hate when people get a leave the EXACT second they reconnect
"OMG HE'S NOT COMING BACK"
"RAGEQUIT
"30 SECONDS IS ENOUGH HE DIDN'T RECONNECT!"
"I CAME TO PLAY NOT TO WAIT"
althought lately, people are more comprensive about disconnects
Hey FP
I've been taking my new-player friend for some pub adventures. He only has 4 wins and I'm teaching him stuff and he's a great learner.
But I was wanting to see if there were any FPers new to dota or anyone who would want to play with us. I find it's much easier to learn to play the game when you have nice people on your team.

Beastmaster is a good starting hero to learn how to micro.
• Only have to micro two additional units maximum, one of which you won't be actively controlling.
• They don't have abilities of their own, meaning you can focus on your hero's abilities and just attack with your boar.
• You don't have to worry too much about them dying: their bounties aren't very high, and you aren't dependant on them to be successful.
• The differences between controlling the hawk and the boar is a good way to learn how to effectively understand the concept of control groups.
Once you're beginning to understand the basics of micro, I'd recommend to move on to a hero like Brewmaster or Lycanthrope, where you're starting to micro abilities (Primal Split) or beginning to be more dependant on your units to deal damage and be successful, while working to avoid getting them killed (wolves).

Yes, but now we have fancy BBcode that does this kind of stuff for us. I agree with the idea that it makes telling stories easier (it genuinely does, and it can make it funnier in certain respects as well), but it just looks silly nowadays because we immediately associate it with greentexting and 4chan.

Night elf or Undead for max micro.
[QUOTE==DarkStar=;40544020]Night elf or Undead for max micro.[/QUOTE]
whenever I played wc3 I'd do 4v4 and play night elf and just mass produce archers and max their research and upgrades
warden + priestess as my heroes
so long as my team built solid melee units, we were UNDEFEATABLE

Warden is so damn good.
Still my favorite combo is necromeatwagon + Firelord or Dark Ranger.
[QUOTE=neos300;40541276]so guys, what do I build on shadow fiend
last game I built treads -> lothars -> mjolnir (because they had a pl) -> bkb -> butterfly
I normally would've gone daed rather than mjolnir.[/QUOTE]
treads shadow blade desolator crit
start building BKB when the enemy realises they need to kill you

necromancers and meatwagons is just stupidly broken, only problem is the buildup takes ages but it's sooo worth it

Boots are overrated items that take up slots which could be used for more rapiers
Man I thought rapiers were like, long and slender, not frigging giant swords with too many spikes. Unless that's energy going around the rapier, in which case wow how did I not see that
That's the Divine part.
[QUOTE=codemaster85;40541614]LS in lane is amazing due to his durability.[/QUOTE]
Naix should only jungle if you've got someone who [B]needs[/B] a sololane. Same with Ursa imo, Ursa has a great attack animation so he can lane easily with the right partner (my favorite is Shadow Shaman). Hell most heroes people jungle with are better in lane.

With the exception of Sproink and Chen.
If you have one of those on your team and they lane, prepare for the worst.
So when nobody was looking Treant got a 54% winrate.

At first I thought it was some kind of abyssal fish, and imagined the heroes hitting each other with fishes. Then I realized it was an actual rapier.
