It's good on him if you can get it early (like any other hero who's a viable Radiance target), but any later than 20 is a waste of time and money imo.

not to mention its raw damage
for 1050 less you can get a desolator which gives the same raw damage and the -armor orb which actually works properly with geminate
for 250 more (with easier to build components) you can get an mkb which gives a lot more damage to weaver, the true strike which is so amazing on ranged carries, and the minibash that iirc is actually doubled by geminate
even the crystalys that goes into daedalus can give some results sorta comparable to radiance (if crits proc), for 3000 gold less (and the daedalus upgrade is even more devastating)

hell even butterfly would probably do more for weaver, despite costing 850 more
it gives the same damage (30 raw damage + 30 agility-based damage), but also gives 35% and 4 armor giving weaver a ton of ehp on top of the damage, with the only real waste being the attack speed

the problem is radiance is a farming item and like all those heroes fall off late game
I think spectre is the one hero I would ever get a radiance on because she needs a reason to be focused, which is also why I think spectre is a sack of shit

Ah yes, A-clicking is an important skill for higher level play; denies the enemy team the gold and XP they'd otherwise get. More important during the laning phase than the later stages, though.
Also PL is, like many other heroes, chained to the accursed dice for the most part, so a streak of bad luck can mean his army doesn't grow as much as it should. If his E was triggered, like he shimmered and produced Illusions around him, the power of his army would be more "in his hands" than in the dice, which is always better than having something be beyond your control and at the mercy of arbitrary RNG that you cannot directly influence to any significant degree.
Anti-mage is so hard to snowball with. :( I love playing him but I can never get far enough into the game to become that unstoppable train of anti-fun.

He's real easy to snowball with for me, just get a good-timed Manta and it's pretty much all downhill from there for the enemy team.

All you need is to position yourself properly, mainly to not get caught on the spell and to be in range to steal it
