Theres also people who report for not connecting in time. Whenever they scream report, I just feel like slapping them hard so they shut up and stop abusing the system for unrelated crap.

I also get reported for opening my mouth on mic asking for wards or a gang. Or just genuinely talking to people.
They can't mute me themselves, if they don't like the way you talk or chat, you get reported instead of them personally muting you. What's the point of chatban anyway, why chatban someone when those who report can just mute people themselves? What's the problem?

I think Cyborgmatt mentioned that it takes them longer to release heroes because they are building the models to allow for cosmetics upfront unlike earlier heroes where they released them and then rebuilt them for cosmetics later down the track.

People keep complaining about those reports, but I continue to not having been affected by one.
I do question people's builds, I do voice opinion on what we should do, but I always do that in a mannered way. And I do play pubs pretty much 99% of the time, so chances I run into report-abusing idiots is rather high.

How the hell did you pull that off against that team? They've got more than enough disables to keep you locked down so badly you can't do anything.
Where do you people get all these assholes who report people? I've encountered assholes, but I've never been reported with results, ever.
I don't understand why VALVe is so adament with sticking with the chatban system. They're reducing reports to try and improve the issue, but that will change absolutely nothing - you'll still be reported and chatbanned over the smallest things and become a huge detriment to everybody on your team. In fact it makes the report system WORSE as you can report less people, and I don't understand how VALVe thinks people will encounter less than 3 assholes that need reporting a week.

I supported a slark as earthshaker yesterday vs a solo lion at top. I stun, he misses absolutely every leap so I am now stuck without a single assist for 10 minutes. Then I die a lot and can't even get mana boots the entire 30 minutes because everyones forcing a fight 24/7.

I have never been chatbanned myself, but I know a lot of people that have been for the most minor reasons.
I don't know how I haven't been chatbanned once yet. I get in the worst arguments all the time if I'm on a losing streak.

I think you can watch TI3 matches without the compendium, it's essentially just a customisable courier that you're paying for.

Wow, I did not expect that response by me stating a opinion.
If you really hate PL that much, than just use Sven or go a ganker and kill him repeatedly and be sure you bring dust / wards. His escape mechanism is not that great compared to other carries. You can also go Magnus and / or Tiny too, along with Wisp.
The other option is to have proper team coordination.
Sorry if my last post came off as hateful.
As a sidenote, even if you think Phantom Lancer is overpowered, there is a reason to why he is not picked up as much compared to heroes such has Lifestealer.
