There's no more "I am walking brute-force" than Ostarion.
Cause all he has is brute force, part of which he can focus to stun.
It would be cool if cosmetics all had lore descriptions to make them more relevant and interesting. So you could slowly overtime learn more about the characters lore and their personality

Ostarion is a walking middle finger to any hero who relies on burst damage/brute force.
he's so easy to counter though

Kiting and stuns are very general terms and not easily executed.
Killing him with heavy burst is hard (HP pool) and almost pointless (ultimate).
BKB on him gives him plenty of time to work around your squishier heroes, likely mince 1 or 2.
King gets countered by your team heavily outgearing the other more so than by anything else.

bkbs cost money, by simply picking a hero that effectively makes your hero useless unless they buy a bkb is an effective counter

Is ok for running away after reincarnate because sometimes the enemy team is over my grave waiting with dragon dildos.
Also I like to push in that classic CM who is behind and afraid to go into the fight, so we can have a nice date.
Sometimes I really hate Skeleton King's ult, because it means that you get to be killed TWICE in the course of less than a minute.
yeah, if you're dead anyways, it just delays your return to the game

Because he has nothing else than his stun and his right click.
Just stunlock him and he goes away.
You can also use halberd for more hilarious results.
Also, diffusal or antimage and he is worthless.
They obviously wont kill you first and let you reincarnate into the middle of the fight and own everyone, they will stun you, keep you alive, kill you last, then spawncamp you and instantly kill you again.

The simplicity in that he has only right-clicks and occasional stun is actually his great strenght against all of these. If you are manaburning tanky SK, you aint doing that to a squishy support with important spells.
And "counters" of stunlock / disable kind are just weak argument. No hero can do well if he is disabled, period. Even Naix has to worry about disables since some go through his immunity and silence beforehand removes it for a while.
The actual problem with SK is his contribution to the team in general. He is a meatloaf with a giant sword, but unlike heroes like Antimage, Spectre or PL, he aint here to farm allday with his "defensive mechanics and late game potential". He has to pump up the game after an item or two and keep rolling off of that, using his ultimate every occassion like Aegis are used. And here's the problem, where alll he really has is his stun and damage/durability potential, which a lot of people, especially up there, can avoid via smart logistics.
It doesn't matter if you are driving T-34 around if enemy is running around you on motorbikes. You can drive over them and hit them ocassionally, but you'll sooner run out of fuel than smack them all.
The other carries that can force engagements, like Anti-mage, Faceless Void, Phantom Assassin, Spirit Breaker, they all have mobility or anti-mobility mechanics that are more reliable than Hellfire Blast. SK is rumored to have a remake in the baking due to how limited he is compared to fresher carries, since he really is hardcore old-Dota hero (all of his abilities were rather basic stuff from WC3 Campaign heroes. Vampiric Aura from the Undead Nightlord was it ? Reincarnation from Chieftain ?) and modern times, especially transition to Dota 2 make it hard to keep him balanced enough to be strong but so simple at the same time.
