Just played veno for the first time, got 3 towers and 1 rax solo. But how should I place my wards when pushing creeps? Should I put them somewhere in front of my creeps so they tank for a bit or should I put them behind my creeps?

Hell Luna is probably the strongest carry that gets started at lvl 6, that aura combined with her Lucent Beam/Ult means she hits like a fucking semitruck as soon as she hits 6.

ok so apparently a friend of mine and I queueing together are high enough up the matchmaking ranks we can't find a game during these qualifiers. Just spend 20 minutes searching, still nothing. :v:

For some reason whenever I want to watch a replay, I have to see dota crash and restart it again. What's up doto, you've been crashing constantly since the last update.

You learn something new every day. I didn't realize first blood granted extra gold.

So I've decided to play the whole "if you can't join em, beat em" tactic and picked silencer twice in the past two days for no particular reason other than playing him and god damn he is a good hero it's like having a kotl, good teamfight hero and a late game carry in the one hero!

Silencer is such a nice hero indeed. I feel so dirty for fucking up my enemies so hard yet so rewarding. Even when I play him as a support I still kick ass.

I always start by saying I'll support, buy a pair of wards, then start building into treads/atos/sheep. Support silencer is actually legit as you feed yourself and fuck the enemy team up simply by getting kills

Abaddon would get the most votes regardless anyways, plus they'd probably release LC before the stretch goal

I doubt Valve would make it between those two, considering how high the goal is. I wouldn't be surprised if the Techies were exempt though- I've never played WC3 Dota but they look like the most annoying hero(es) in existence. Also, on the subject of stretch goals, are the Smeevil's customizations in yet? I've watched three qualifiers, all count as game and I don't see any options. I assume they're just not done yet?

I'd assume since Legion Commander (and Abaddon) are already on their way it would be everyone else to pick from.

Bottom lane got stomped so hard by ogre and axe, all I heard were giggles over the mic and ogre jokes on the chat. Constructor went full ogre.

by the time that goal is reached Abaddon and LC will probably be released. LC probably tonight and Abaddon within the next month.

So I wondered why my Doto was crashing all the time, turns out it saves a crash report every time you crash, so I looked in the dota folder, I had 3,5 gb of crash dumps. Deleting it reduced the frequency of crashes by a lot, still crash occasionally though.

I imagine what's going to happen is we see either Legion or Abaddon tonight, the next one next week or the week after, and then they go on lockdown for TI3 like they did last year. I doubt we're going to hit Goal 7 before those two come out, and not many of the other heroes have tons of work done on them, so it'll be a fairly equal amount of work no matter who we choose.
