So I cant seem to repair my frigate, its stuck like this.

Third system after starting a new game and im given a free freighter along with a science frigate.
I mean shit I ain't complainin but isn't the base level freighter worth like 80m? (Can you even sell them?)
Captains keep begging to give away their freighter to me even though I already have one.
Leave me the fuck alone I'm already happily married.
Answer to both those questions was yes - but everyone wanted a lush planet to settle on and I searched for hours for a blissful planet. Only reason I went with the one I did was because I was fooled into thinking there were no rainstorms.
At the very least the rainstorms seem fairly infrequent.
Also for anyone who wants to jump on Ill be jumping on after my shift tonight (probably about 6 hours from when I make this post) so keep an eye out for me on the Discord.
Where do I get the blueprint for glass?
I want to build a house with windows, but I can't find the blueprint anywhere.
I just got threatened by pirates and they attacked me out of nowhere
... I was chilling beside like 2 friendly fleets and my screen was filled with green lasers. I love this AI.

try the save editor it lets you repair frigates
Wait. So is this game worth purchasing now?
At $30, yeah.
Bloody game keeps freezing and crashing round about the time or just after I build a fleet command centre thing and send them on an expedition.
I don't buy into the pre-order bullshits these days and NMS was no exception, seeing what a shitshow it was on release, I was certain that I'd never touch this fuckin' game.
Cut to last week when @Snood is telling me in work how good the latest patch has made the game and how much fun he's been having just exploring and doing random stuff. I had a look and saw it was £20 on steam...eh, why not, I can always refund it, if it sucks.
I've now played about 18 hours in about 4 days. I'm enjoying it quite a lot. A bit concearned with how many materials it takes to make building structures since mining big rocks on planets seems to take forever, although perhaps that's my lack of game knowledge and there's a better mining tool I can get, not sure. Other than that, it's great.
Ship flight controls are a little crap, I had to change the default FOV from 75 to 90 to make it less obnoxious to look at, also locking the camera in ships so that it doesn't fly where your head turns. Other than that, weirdly enough, I'd recommend this game in it's current state and £20 price
If you enjoy collecting materials to craft new shit so you can collect more materials faster/easier, yes it's worth $30. That's what the majority of the game is if you want to progress (which you have to if you want to go to stars other than the yellow ones).
It's pretty similar to minecraft i guess, except you don't necessarily have to make a base (altho doing so has benefits but it's more of a hassle getting to it (gotta use portals at space stations/other bases you got if you made a teleporter there)).
I can't find ANY fucking buried tech (for the blueprints machine)
So annoying you can't bring up your scanning analyser while flying about in the air.
Finally found a portal and hauled my ass over to Strangereal (upload server seems fucked atm though?)

If you guys in Strangereal don't find and name an area as "B72 Airspace - The Round Table" I'm going to buy a PC and come and kick your arse.
I'll look for a plateau when I get there.
How does one find the base overseer, what triggers it?
All my staff in my base have dissapeared :\
At which point do i unlock the ground vehicles ( cant remember the name right now ). So far i have just been slowly getting personal tech blueprints from by home base computer but thats about it
It triggered for me after I built my first prefab building piece. I just plopped down a round room and it gave me the quest, though I don't remember where was with other quests when I did that.
Are you fucking kidding me
This extreme planet has superheated rain EVERY SINGLE SECOND
It will let up for no more than 30 seconds, then STRAIGHT BACK TO FUCK YOU MODE
I hate this.
My Travelers Graves seem to be bugged, I can no longer interact with any and extract the glyphs so I guess I'm gonna have to cheat them in.
Decided to bite the bullet and grab it. If I really don't like it, I'll refund.
And now kids... Badage Boys IN SPACE
I had this same planet, AND it had frenzied sentinels. It was literally hell.
Yeah it's bugged for everyone it seems, can only get the first glyph.
NEXT is great but it also has a ton of bugs.
Hell yeah it does. Luckily I've managed to avoid and work around most of the gamebreaking ones.
But you know the most prevalent one that's occurring to me right now?
Without spoiling too much of the end of one of the quest lines, Nada and Polo are stuck in some sort of loop where every single time I enter a system, they warp infront of me, hail me down, and just...offer me tea.
There is no tea offered when I board their ship. They do this every time I warp into a new system.
They're just lonely.
You've seen how many visitors Polo gets nowadays.
The base missions are fucked in terms of bugs. First it told me my base was on my ship for days, so I lost it for a while, now the scientist mission is all fucked and out of order, I think. It's telling me to acquire a circuit board and to "help the scientist to learn the blueprints for a circuitboard", I try to speak to him and it just says "I should let the Korvax work" or whatever.
I have the blueprint for the circuitboard, weirdly enough, but not the 2 components that are required to make one. God damn.
