No Man's Sky - "The indie game that stole the show at E3" - Games

Most annoying thing for me is all these different fuel bars, and the launch/warp fuel being a two-stage recipe. Just give me a single fuel bar for everything, like Elite Dangerous.

So, this game actually has pretty good writing. Not like, the alien dialogue specifically, but lots of the lore and storyline bits are great little bursts of dread-inducing, existential sci-fi. They manage to convey a whole lot for being short little paragraphs. It's a shame most of them are blocked off by bugs.

So the Vy'keen armourer mission glitched out for me and I can't find a vy'keen system with an armourer in it. Is there any way, short of starting a new save to fix this shit?

If I buy new freighter will my old freighter's built stuff rooms and such transfer or do I gotta do all that again?

Also is the word 'got' a swear word in a language somewhere? The chat filter seems pretty bananas sometimes. Wish you could turn it off. I duno if it's because it's part of faggot or what but when you're trying to type to someone and half your message is behind asterisks that aren't even swear words in english, tad annoying.

The common theory is that they consider "got" short for Game of Thrones, and I suppose Hello doesn't want people talking about Game of Thrones? Either that, or their filter for the word "faggot" is fucked and considers "got" to still be part of "faggot."

My friend and I went to our first red-star system and one of the planets, known as a "Decaying Nuclear Planet," had ambient radiation that would kill you in under 2 minutes, and what was described as (in bright red font) "ENORMOUS NUCLEAR STORMS" near-constantly that reduced your survival time to about 25 seconds. Another planet in the same system had superheated rainstorms that reduced visibility to about 50 feet and made it almost impossible to fly anywhere close to the ground. Was awesome tbh The game still has a lot of unrealized potential and I hope future updates add to it, but multiplayer alone has given this game a lot of fun factor.

So I've learned how much larval cores are and man does it help early game. It's been my first playthrough. Anyone know any other tips or strategy?

Tunnel underneath them a little bit almost straight down, and mine them out while underground. Prevents the little critters getting to you (almost all the time, sometimes one'll bug out and still hit you), and the cores just roll down into your grubby little mitts.

I got so sick of my fucking hell planet where its hot as hell and never stops raining (I called it New Africa) I warped out to free explore I immediately enter the system into a fight between some giant fucking freighters and some pirates. I Win The captain offers me his freighter for free. I'm so happy. My first ever freighter! Even comes with a science vessel that has done 4 missions and got damaged 4 times. Probably in no small part to the drinking culture they have on board. So quick question : Can I leave my freighter and science vessel there where it is and not have to worry about it doing anything? I don't want to have to start worrying about morale and stuff...

If anyone is having problem for example farming silver for Freighter stuff just do depot raid and then mince down those yellow tier items you get, 250 silver/gold/plat each depending on the item.

VR could work so well in this game.
