If everything sprinted in KF, Fleshpounds would be even scarier since they'd always be red.
That sounds like a realy good gamemode, but you'd need to half the amount of health most specimens have and maybe add some speed to the ones that don't sprint.
Just had the mother of all tense chase scenes through bedlam
Fucking hordes of scrakes and fleshpounds in every hallway and then the 100s of assholes behind them
Firebug gets a fuckload of kills, on a good game I'm usually at the top of the list with loadsamoney to spare, firebug ammo is super cheap too, between flare revolver and flamethrower I only spend about 150 after each round and then get ammo for days, I swear a flame revolver could last you 3 whole rounds without restocking
This is why including the flare revolver in DLC was a stupid idea. I'm actively better than other people playing firebug that don't have it.

It's OP, plain and simple.
But I love my class more than anything [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
Fire effects are really bad in this game. the flamethrower looks more like an energy weapon at times.
Methinks that the trenchgun (a shotgun) 's initial damage should count for the 'shotgun damage' support thing. Whilst all fully automatic weapons (except the flamethrower) should provide points for the commando perk. if there was an explosive crosbow weapon, the bolt should do marksman points and the explosion should do explosive points. It makes a lot of sense. (though i'm not so sure on a shotgun pistol)

It does a pretty good job of simulating a real flamethrower, IMO, most games just make them puff flames instead of spraying fuel like real ones do.

I mean, the Tommy-gun is balanced, the Scythe is okay and the crossbow is a new way to play Bezerker, however the flare revolvers are straight up better near-start weapons.

The scythe used to be amazing, but then they nerfed it and now it's a weaker claymore.
I miss the M99 pre-nerf. It was fun carrying 26 bullets that instant-killed Fleshpounds as a Level 6 sharpshooter. Now it costs 5000 pounds just to fully refill the damn thing.

Shame that the Sharpshooter's only real sniper rifle is now a gigantic brick.

I didn't mind the weight because I don't mind the 9mm at all, especially as Sharpshooter. I use the 9mm for crowd control, and Scrakes and Fleshpounds would be met with a .50 caliber bullet to the face.

Fleshpounds have kinda become a low threat to me now.
Playing with good teammates they just drop so fast with a pipebomb/aa12 combo and focus fire.
Scrakes scare more tbh, especially when I'm playing medic or commando.

I use fleshpounds as a kill comparison because of their huge healthbars. In all honesty, they can't hold a candle to a well-coordinated team, but then again, nothing in this game can.
Eh, the classic 5 siren spawn in between squad members has taken out my squad a few times.
Husks suck butt too.

Well to be fair, I tried it out in Solo on Beginner as a level 2 Sharpshooter. Only one single bullet required to kill the patriarch.
Beginner
I'm pretty sure the knife would kill the Patriarch in two hits.

almost
it took me 1 headshot and 1 bodyshot with the crossbow (offperk) to take him down
maybe with a level 3 zerker
These things really piss me off during Hard, Suicidal, and/or Hell on Earth difficulty

If you don't get this: Everybody damaging the Scrake with weak weapons when I'm close to him and pissing him off to kill me.

There's so many things that went wrong in those pictures. I would be more concerned with your team allowing so much trash to reach your Sphere of Effectiveness.
In other news, here have a pole dancer.

I really hope they don't release a patch that makes them utterly useless.
Flame revolver is about all a firebug can buy at the start of the game; unless you want to be stuck with a mac10 piece of shit.
OP against chump change clots and crawlers but as soon as a scrakes and fleshpounds come in it suddenly gets a lot harder to rely on it
The only problem I have with them is that everyone doesn't have access to them.

Exactly, I'm completely fine with DLC packs like the Golden Weapons, but when it comes to weapons with their own specific stats (where most of which are blatantly broken or straight upgrades), that's ridiculous. The God-damned bezerker now has a means to instant kill a Scrake at a RANGE, with retrievable ammo, and only the people who bought it have access to the DLC.
They get rid of an "overpowered" weapon available to the public by nerfing it(Yep, still angry about the M99), and turn around and give the blatant upgrades to people who bought the DLC.
I never would even have bought it unless they had that super sale a while back, it's really dumb that there are weapons that are just not accessible.

The M99? Shit I'm still irritated about the Marksman nerf from (how long has it been now, years?) long before that ever came out. RIP M14 EBR.
As for the new weapons, I don't remember life as a Zerker without the Buzzsaw; just brief flashes of a lesser experience. The Buzzsaw is worth buying the pack for alone if you are ever going to give Zerker a try. I held off buying the CWP for a long time (until they had that Humble Bundle Weekend sale actually), thinking "I don't need those". It's true that I don't need them, but sure as shit there's no way I can go back to not using some of them now; they're just too good to not use.

I like how the LV2 is the Chicken character :V
I kinda wish there were upgrades to some weapons, as a lot of them you use for a round or two and then get rid of them. Maybe a purchasable sight upgrade to the M14, or a "Mob" upgrade for the Thompson that adds a drum mag and new muzzle. Some things that would make things more complex, should I upgrade my weapon with one of these bonuses, or purchase a heavier weapon?
It's probably unrelated to Killing Floor, but I spotted this while connecting to the internet at school.

I read it with a pseudo british voice.
I'm decent at KF, but not great, what's a good difficulty level for a person with only 2 level 4 classes, but who knows the mechanics and can consistently land headshots, to level up perks?
Speaking of KF, anyone want to play?
HOLY FUCK
