To be honest it seems pretty easy. I haven't even noticed how fast it was, since right now I'm only <200k from level 5 (3,5m damage).

I'm a zerk main anyways so I enjoy it.
Zerker is my first and only level 6 :v:
My only 6 is Firebug, because it's so easy to level up
I got all of them to level 6, but still need to get 1.5 million damage and maybe a thousand stalker kills on the damn commando before having them all at max.
Sharpshooter is the easiest to get to 6

Support was the easiest. You just had to pretty much shoot at things with shotguns (best weapons HANDS DOWN) and weld doors. No accuracy or specific enemies needed. Some people bitch about the amount of welding needed, but mine was way over the limit before the damage was.
I had Zerker to level 6 after about 30 hours of playing the game, before I started playing on custom servers, it's definitely my favorite class. In that time I also got medic to 3, sharpshooter to 5, and demo to 3 just by rolling with a katana, dual handcannons, and m32.

if you can kill FPs with one shot, you're either using the AMR and/or not playing on a difficulty higher than normal.
AMR on anything is op. But I wished they hadn't made it cost fucking $5000 just to refill all the ammo. You might as well just pick up ammo a long the way.
I can't even remember anymore.. In the past, if you beat a map on a difficulty such as Suicidal. Didn't it used to unlock the Normal and Hard achievements? I can't remember if it did or not because I know it hasn't been doing that for me.
I agree that Zerker is annoying to level, I got every classes to 6 except zerker, who's at 5 (and still missing 1.6 mil melee damage), and now that I'm back at playing KF, I still don't want to finish it, it's not that I don't like zerker, it's more a matter of zerker going from an overpowered killing machine that gets in the way of everyone's crosshair until midgame where you have to constantly backpedal from an onslaught of crawlers and fleshpounds (and people enraging the fleshpound before you even get out of the crawler pile).
Does anyone know if the sawbow increases the zerker's perk?

It's an on perk weapon, so it does count the damage for leveling the zerker.
So:
- Commando is for large-scale trash removal
- Medic is for keeping people alive
- Sharpshooter is for nailing high-risk targets
- Berzerker is for enduring, tanking, and stun-locking
- Firebug is damage-over-time and special nullifying

Crowd control and assraping fleshpounds.
So, I was doing the stronghold map, and we got wiped on the patty wave, except for medic, but the patty still had 2 heals left.
And the medic just kept kiting the patty through the castle while occasionally chipping him with flare revolvers

I've reinstalled Killing Floor, finally.
I'm going to play some of the perks I didn't bother with when I first played (berserker, firebug and demo) because they suddenly sound a lot more fun than a year ago.

Just keep in mind for us Zerkers,Medics and other classes that we are on the frontlines and if you draw a FP too close, too fast and you'll do more harm then good.
Seriously, ive had teams die because a demo fired at the wrong times, enraged a FP and killed us because he spent his load of explosives too quick and had to reload.
More of a PSA to Suicidal and Beyond but just take care anyway.

Can't medics and zerkers outrun an enraged FP anyway? I know when I have my knife out as a rank 6 medic, the FP just can't catch me at all.

True, but its much harder when the fp is enraged and everyone is running all over the place. Its how people die really, the Zerker dies first then everyone goes "oh fuck" runs the hell away expecting to not get caught by FP and the only person that survives the round is the Medic because he can outrun everything, and sadly gets ambushed by a Scrake or Trash Mobs.
As i said, its more of a PSA for Suicidal and HOE because its really easy to have a shitty player and lose because they weren't being a asset.
Especially true on HOE though, its tolerable on Suicidal as long as the player roughly knows what he is doing.
If playing on Hard isn't enough fun for you, play on Suicidal and maybe if you want some serious play go to HOE.
To me both difficulties are kinda optional but fun and somewhat useful for leveling medic.
The thing I love the most about being a max level medic is the armour resistance
It's insane, I can shrug off Fleshpound hits without any consequences, and restocking is extremely cheap

Yes, I am aware of demolitions being more useful on long to medium ranges. And I also know about how aiming for the chest and head makes you do more damage than shooting feet.
Do a lot of people still play this, or has the community shrunk a lot? I was thinking of getting back into it while waiting on KF2.
