If you're talking about Rachel, she's just a remodeled Ash Harding. Doesn't even use a new voice.
What is this madness? Looks like i reinstalled for nothing, fucking thanks Trip. I know i'm not the only one who wanted to hear that cute voice in the trailer trash talking the zeds and shouting about thrown money. Tripwire needs to fucking step up on VA.
I have no idea how they didn't give her a new voice.
I think someone from Tripwire on the Steam forums said that they ran out of memory for the character voices. That's probably also why the DAR and Reggie only have like 5-6 new lines total.
I'm not aware of how these things work, how do you run out of memory with voices?
Ok, so I'm playing Suicidal with some friends as medic and everybody but me wiped on wave 10. Last thing alive is a fleshpound and a scrake so I start kiting the fp with the claymore our zerker dropped. For whatever reason, the scrake just decided to attack the fp, and the fp got enraged because of it. FP charged at me and I died. Rip

Anyway let's be real, if they gave her her own voice, people would just complain that Mrs. Foster and etc. doesn't have her own voice and she's a paid character.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was an arbitrary limit on how much sound they can fit in. I'm sure they could redo the sound channel code but why put in all that work (and then on top of that lots of expensive voice acting payments) for a few new characters when their focus is clearly (and should be) on the sequel.
Actually killing floor is pretty complicated and runs on a very old engine.
Apparently UE2 based games are a real pain to host or join servers for, while in other games, networking seems to "just work". If the only thing KF2 brought to the table was improved networking, then I'd be all for it!
Solo beginner with faked players mutator set on 6 at least.
Thanks! I got it as a level 3 Berserker on with 10 faked players. Took about an hour. I did start scavenging weapons off the ground at around wave 8 to sell to the trader just in case but even if I didn't by wave 10 I would've had enough.
just had the clutchest game on hard suburbia (which is a fuckin nightmare of a map until you find the stairs let me tell ya) we manage to choke our way out with a l6 berserker, l4 medic, l3 firebug, l2 commando, myself (started as l5 medic and switched to l4 support around round 9), and a l0 commando pretty much every round once flesh pounds showed up ended in the berserker dying about 80% of the way in and us having to kite everything out finally make it to the patriarch round and i was surprised by how well we were doing. he got to his second heal by the time he managed to start killing people (myself and the l2 commando were the first to go). i wasn't really paying great attention from spectator because i sort of assumed we were screwed, and i started watching again just in time to see the berserker die. berserker says the patriarch is out of heals, but he still manages to snag the medic, then the firebug. meanwhile little l0 commando is off in a corner dealing with stalkers and we all start calling gg. he then turns, lands the killing blow with a single headshot from his ak47, and everyone freaks out wish i'd gotten a screenshot of that kill. this game owns

All of the Christmas/Halloween/Circus Zeds have completely new voicework for each and every one. Not only that, but most of the new lines have TWO TAKES FOR EACH LINE just for variety!

That's why it's such a bitch to try and spawn event zeds even with modding, they simply aren't in the game. If you lose that position though you are fucked beyond belief, I fell out the window of the bank once and died in under 3 seconds from full armor and health. There wasn't even anything down there when I fell, that was just what SPAWNED.
Another hope for KF2: Better map dynamics. A vast selection of maps, some with rather large expanses, and 90% of that space is completely pointless because if you try make a stand anywhere other than that one staircase, you're getting your butt served on a platter by 10 crawlers dropping directly on top of you, or 5 gorefasts spawning 2 feet away.

That's pretty much because camping is a style, not a prerequisite to playing. KF was originally made for run and gun with campy clutches at mob-chokepoint areas. Camping is fine, and I don't hate, but kiting and circuits is lot more interesting and much more HoE friendly.
protip for transit: Before you sound the alarm, get a guy with a high level perk that spawns with stuff to suicide while holding out the weapon he spawns with, you can give your entire team crossbows before the game starts like this. You can probably do this on other objective maps and normal maps but i havent tried it.
I'd say tripwire have learned but then I remember hellride happened.
That was such a bitch to finish on Hell on Earth, you can't step anywhere without something spawning on you. [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] Alright, don't ask how but i have another Dosh Costume Code.
two successful games in a row with a level 0 commando i think i've found my good luck charm???

Seriously, that Cthulu Reference in the top centre of this Screenshot. (Pretty sure its cthulu anyway.) [t]http://www.overclockersclub.com/vimages/news/news36195_12955-killing_floor_2s_gun_mechanics_detailed_teaser_trailer_released.jpg[/t] Nice to see that the P90 is a Confirmed Gun now, seeing as they motion capped the animations.
So: - Commando is for large-scale trash removal - Medic is for keeping people alive - Sharpshooter is for nailing high-risk targets - Berzerker is for enduring, tanking, and stun-locking - Firebug is damage-over-time and special nullifying What's Demolition's goal and/or purpose?
Managing the worlds last remaining suborbital space program, sponsored by Seeker 6
God Demolitions feels so lacklustre.
God Demolitions feels so lacklustre.
It's the worst perk ever for the first half of the game, but if you've saved up enough dosh by the time FPs start spawning . . . good stuff can happen.
Demo is the best perk on the Moon Map, its just so much fun to jump around and spam grenade launcher.

If there is one thing playing Killing Floor has made me want changed in Killing Floor 2, it's the hit detection for things like heads. It just feels so wacky, I hope it gets fixed in the sequel, because sometimes I get so annoyed how it works while I'm trying to make consistent head shots.
I've noticed that I can't shoot enemies behind a headless enemy, as well as enemies whose heads are fully visible behind an enemy's shoulders.
