also another protip for demos: you can stack grenades and then detonate them with your grenade launcher to take out bigger zeds. Not sure how many but it's better to chuck 2-4 grenades and then go ham with the grenade launcher if you need to kill a fp or scrake.

Does anyone know how to make spaces appear properly in the server name? They appear as question marks atm.

I really hope they do go balls out with melee and add in blocking and such. Imagine using a sword/machete/handaxe and a shield and just bashing clots in the head. Imagine parrying with a sword, cutting off a clots hands as it swipes at you, leaving a sharp spike of bone where it can still attack you ala the first game where they waddle towards you without a head.

Would it be against the rules of I posted an IP to a KF server I'm renting? It's Hard, and has a mutator that spawns the Circus Zeds instead of the default ones. The mutator is greylisted, so although you can use your perk levels, you can't actually level them up, or get achievments. If it's a problem I can just disable the mutator when somebody here wants to play I could also occasionally change it to suicidal, or Hell On Earth if somebody wants to. The server is located in Nevada, btw so idunno if that'll be a problem.

Fuck parrying/blocking, it's a fucking fps, not some hack&slash game. Where is this franchise going towards? The focus should be on bullet penetration mechanics and specific armor vulnerabilities, tweaking weapons & classes accordingly, improving the AI behavior.

Before it was just 'm1' and you would slice and that would be it. You can now hit in numerous directions and strike where you want. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Plus I'd rather deal with a dead clot than a headless one, they still cause problems.
I have discovered the glory that is modded servers, this is exactly what I needed to hold me over until KF2.

Might as well remove the berserker class then while they're at it? All I'm saying is that, if they add in a simple blocking system they could make it work fantastically cool with their new gore system. I'm not asking for Chivalry: Killing Floorfare.

For an entirely melee class how is blocking a bad thing, if you are going face to face with a fucking fleshpound its probably a good idea to have some way to avoid the gigantic death machines on his arms
