Yeah well if you try blocking an fp attack your arms should get ripped off and if you don't heal you die in a minute.
I hope there are shields in the next game.
I can run into battle with a falchion and a greatshield screaming "FOOOOR THE OOOORDDDEEER!!"
I would love a riot shield in the game to help block zeds off at doorways and so on.

how long is gonna last the sale?
Always thought it would be interesting if they did an alternate to the flamethrower that froze zeds solid. I think borderlands 2 is doing something similar. Would add a whole new level to the gore mechanic they're planning.

us vs them has zed gun mk2 which is amazing and sealsqueal which is super fun though.
So, has any of you ever had a moment where the Pat's AI royally crapped itself?
A few days ago, me and SinineSiil were playing on MoonBase, and as usual, the Pat ran off to heal after getting damaged enough, with leaving trash zeds in its wake.
We ran into the issue that the Pat seemingly disappeared into nothing. He didn't return to attack. So after a few minutes of waiting, we decide to look for him in the desolate base.
After a view minutes, we track down the only noise in the base: Around that pit to jump up and down near the Dwarfs Axe. The noise was only his soft, irregular breathing. Still no Pat to be seen anywhere.
It isn't until two minutes have passed that we figure out what has happened: The Pat's pathfinding had broken, leaving him jumping around floors while being invisible, which he normally does when sneaking up on the squad to smack someone.
Obliviously, all we could spot of him was his cloak's fade jumping around from time to time if he came close enough. This lead to every one of us just shooting at the pit until we hit him, judging by his pain noise and blood spatter.
Eventually, he got out of his invisible jumping habit, uncloaked finally.... only to miss with that AoE melee attack and getting pounded instantly.
It was pretty much the most anti-climatic Pat fight I had in a long while.

Nothing more climactic than a patty fight that ends up with him running to heal straight into a door and stuck inside while still being invisible
Is there anywhere online to easily get a copy of PC Gamer magazine UK to get the KF2 code? I just checked the only store in town that stocks the fucker and somebody opened every issue and took the codes.
I kinda hope they handle weapon skins like CS:GO and dont have stupid weapons like the flarevolvers

Flamethrower and mac10 are my go-to guys for suicidal. flamethrower for big shit, mac10 on semi to tag things at a distance and watch them burn down.
The trenchgun is pathetic, super disappointed that such a beautiful weapon is so.. not useless.. whats the word for "Not widely applicable?" Versatile?
wait, when the fuck did they announce killing floor 2?

Highly situational? Versatile would mean widely applicable. Ironic, considering how everyone (including myself) jerked off to the trench gun when it was released.
AMR is versatile but you may as well not use it because of the ammo costs.

Unless they've fixed it in the past couple of months, the problem w/ the trenchgun is that the only bonus that applies to it is Commando's decreased reload times.

Trenchgun does have all of the on perk bonuses applied on it, and also gets a bonus from the support's penetration increase.

Really? I tested it and thought that it made no difference whatsoever. The trenchgun is awesome but I can't be arsed to take the firebug.
I'm so fucking hyped for Killing Floor 2 the more I think about it the more distracted from work I become. I hope that since Tripwire made the most awesome flamethrower in Rising Storm that they make the firebug/flamethrower really good this time around.
I cant wait to get me grubby mitts on it.

One Pat fight I had on Manor recently, the pat cloaked and started to run away into the manor, with me in hot pursuit. While fully cloaked, he got stuck in a door way between me and a clot and I just sat there attacking until he died. He didn't uncloak or anything

I hope in KF2 there's some sort of way to vote to end trader time after everyone has entered the trader room once. More often than not I find the team is ready with 20 or 30 seconds left, or the trader happens to be right where we're holding so we can just refill ammo and be ready almost instantaneously. Granted, that's not much time, but it adds up after a while and it would be nice to just get back into the action when we want to.

I actually found a site that let me order the single issue. Received it today and the codes are intact. Still, I had to pay shipping on top of the cost of the magazine so it cost me more than it would have if some asshole hadn't sabotaged all the physical copies.
