Everything drops like a brittle brick on Beginner Mode.
I remember posting here mentioning I was surprised the M99 AMR could kill Patriarch with a single bodyshot on Beginner, someone chewed me out saying a knife should also one shot him if I'm going to play on Beginner.
people who don't fear scrakes have never been last man standing on suicidal as a medic.
I can in no way do suicidal but even on normal (at least for me) if 2+ scrakes show up then they can give you a run for your money if you fuck up with dealing with them.
Scrakes only give me problems when other people piss them off like idiots. No sense of priority in those people.
Does anyone use the combat shotgun?
i think its a decent sidegrade but i prefer normal shotgun tbh, much more viable.
Does anyone use the combat shotgun?
Only use it a KF Doom map.
Does anyone use the combat shotgun?
i sometimes grab it for the patriarch round to get more damage in, even though reloading the aa12 is probably more effective
i think its a decent sidegrade but i prefer normal shotgun tbh, much more viable.
It's good in a pinch but nearly every other shotgun vastly outweighs it because of its stupid reload time.
Does anyone use the combat shotgun?
I use it a lot. Mainly because it feels rather nice, and I have the gold version. It's alright, but its not really the best shotgun, but it never made much of a difference to me. I've usually done pretty well on suicidal with dual flares, Combat shotty, and AA12/Hunting shotgun. I just wish they would lower the price for it. It's so expensive compared to the normal shotgun.
[t]http://puu.sh/aQyJA/3f117cd3b0.jpg[/t] That moment when 2 beserkers can hide in this little puny room thing in west london and be a blender until the last wave lmao that worked too well
I recently reinstalled the game after about a year of not playing, and I'm having a problem where it wont save the progression in the Medic tree. Every other tree saves except for medic. I've gotten from level 1 to 2 about three times now but it didn't save any time I did. Anybody else have this problem or similar, and is there a way to fix it?
Wasn't it thanks to an NVIDIA sponsored competition that they got the funds to start up tripwire, anyways?
It was the "Make Something Unreal" competition.
It was the "Make Something Unreal" competition.
the 2004 edition was sponsored by Nvidia, and that's where they won the money. So I wasn't completely wrong :v:
All I'm really looking forward to is how nice the flashlight will be since it was complete ass in KF1.
Idk if they would go far enough to add Physx support to the game, but it would probably help make the gore system extra chunky. Or at least make environmental destruction a little better, and maybe some spooky turbulence smoke like they had in Batman. They will probably just add TXAA and HBAO+ and call it a day but who knows how fancy they want KF2 to be.
All I'm really looking forward to is how nice the flashlight will be since it was complete ass in KF1.
What's wrong with it?
What's wrong with it?
Instead of shooting a beam of light, it kind of makes the spot you point at light up. It's not really a flash light in the first game, its like you're moving a glowing 3D object around the environment wherever you point at.
Its also only on the default pistol which makes it such a pain to use Unless its on more but I don't know because its on so few weapons
Its also only on the default pistol which makes it such a pain to use Unless its on more but I don't know because its on so few weapons
Some shotguns do have it.
Shotgun, Combat Shotgun and Vlad have flashlights as well. KF 2 will have flashlights on almost all guns.
Shotgun, Combat Shotgun and Vlad have flashlights as well. KF 2 will have flashlights on almost all guns.
As attachments you can buy I think. For dosh, not micro-transactions.
As attachments you can buy I think. For dosh, not micro-transactions.
Okay if you can buy and decide which attachments go onto your guns that's a seriously awesome thing they're doing. That's practically a staple in modern shooters and will compliment Kf2 and its new gunplay nicely. [editline]15th[/editline] I'm equally parts glad and sad that KF2 is seemingly going to make KF1 look like total shit in comparison.
Nuts to gun attachments! I just hope they bring back the classic vehicles from the mod. And hopefully the new Trader can live up to the original.
I kind of want to try the UT2004 KF mod.
I kind of want to try the UT2004 KF mod.
nothing's stopping you
Nothing stopped me and I tried it. I think I'll stick with Killing Floor until KF2 releases.
I just want some ability to see in the dark when playing as the Zerker. Such a pain in the ass.
From what I learned with vehicles in KFmod, KF-WestLondon is actually a pretty decent racetrack. UT2k4's toilet car works pretty well in it. Also, multiple Patrirarchs do not stand a chance against people using UT2k4's vehicles.
