i sincerely hope that i'll still be able to send zeds flying 15 feet in the air with my homerun shotgun
I want this to be out already, jesus christ. where is the preorder page?
Still pretty annoyed that they added a bunch of stupid gimmicky weapons as dlc instead of just adding real guns. Hopefully they don't pull that shit in KF2.

yes but it's frustrating when the flare gun is so ridiculously strong
You don't have to use any of the DLC stuff.
That's a bad argument.
yes but it's frustrating when the flare gun is so ridiculously strong
lol flare gun can we talk about instead how the only ranged weapon for berserker is dlc?
That's a bad argument.
I see steampunk weapons once every 10 pub games, and they basically don't affect me anyway. The only truly different weapons are: Flares - OP and bullshit, only real offender in my eyes Dwarfs Axe - Also pretty OP, but I never see it anyway. Zed Guns - I think they add to the game though, more tactics and strategy Seal Squeal - Best DLC gun, fun and balanced. Seekersix - So useless it doesn't affect you Bloat thrower - Nobody ever uses this a second time. All the other DLC is just reskins or functional reskins. I barely see them ingame and even though I own all the weapon packs I barely ever use any DLC weapons except sealsqueal. Why complain about them adding new features and interesting weapons? Obviously there's going to be bad weapons (I hate the steampunk weapons) but there's enough choice and strategy that you don't need them, plus nearly every DLC weapon sucks balls above hard so you won't see them anyway. [editline]18th August 2014[/editline]
lol flare gun can we talk about instead how the only ranged weapon for berserker is dlc?
berserker is meant to be melee though, carry a handcannon or an m79 if you want a ranged weapon.
I'm not complaining about them adding dlc, I'm just complaining that the dlc isn't something appealing, I would rather them be real guns instead of silly made up ones and then I might actually want to buy it.
Well normal guns would just be further reskins, additional automatic weapons and shotguns would play basically the same as the other ones we already have in the game, in addition they already added a lot of weapons over time that were just slight tweaks on the defaults (e.g. the 3 new medic guns, the HSG and I think the combat shotgun? the m32, half the commando arsenal)
berserker is meant to be melee though, carry a handcannon or an m79 if you want a ranged weapon.
But the option is there, so you have the option of using only melee and other perk weapons for ranged combat.. ..or you can get the DLC and use the buzzsaw, gain the damage XP for your perk for using it, receive the damage boost from your perk, and also have it be a really effective weapon at killing multiple enemies in a long line, also making fleshpounds, scrakes and the patriarch easier to kill with much less risk than all the melee weapons, without having to switch your perk, on top of playing the perk in a whole different way than you could've before! Additional playstyles shouldn't be locked behind DLC, it just kills variety.
It's been a dollar many times in the past, it's hardly a massive cash gateway. I think it should be free but honestly it's not a lot of cash to fork out. Anyway, get good as zerk and you don't need anything but a fire axe from wave 1 to patriarch. believe me.
I would love if they could try and keep DLC to cosmetics, both for the players and weapons. I hope that character customisation is actually a thing, and not just a bunch of characters that are the same character that look different.
kf_departure is like the easiest map theres a small room near spawn and if you weld the door to the right and no one stands near it, zeds never attack it essentially allowing you to funnel all the zeds through one doorway. Outside the door is a wall so Husks can't snipe you either and with a demo and sharpshooter you can kill anything that comes through also anything below Suicidal feels like a cakewalk now since I've tried playing HoE a lot.
excuse you but westlondon race map clearly holds the place as easiest (but most boring) or mountainpass
mountainpass is supereasy
Regarding DLC. I wish if you owned the DLC everybody in your game could buy it themselves. It's a pain in the ass, and a waste of time having to wait for my friends to give me the excess cash so they can use one of my DLC weapons. Also, the Steampunk Musket is literally an upgraded LAR.
I had a dream the other night that I was stuck in a boarded up house with between 7-12 gorefasts trying to get in. All I had was a baseball bat. Why dreams? Why do you taunt me so? [editline]17th August 2014[/editline] the new screamy-bleedy-spoopy gorefasts.
Instead of shooting a beam of light, it kind of makes the spot you point at light up. It's not really a flash light in the first game, its like you're moving a glowing 3D object around the environment wherever you point at.
Sure it'll be nice to have a flashlight with modern graphics features but the flashlight does what it's supposed to so I wouldn't really call it awful.
Tripwire please let me preorder KF2 I want to give you my money.
Tripwire please let me preorder KF2 I want to give you my money.
I'm the only one who doesn't want they put the game to pre-order/early access? I wanna a functional game, and if I have to wait more time, I will.
From what they've said, they're only going to release early access when the game is basically finished and it will just be for balancing purposes.

If the Five nights at Freddy's models are ported, they would make excellent specimens.
I'm the only one who doesn't want they put the game to pre-order/early access? I wanna a functional game, and if I have to wait more time, I will.
Preordeding is quite different from purchasing early access, mainly due to the fact that you don't get to play the game before it's released when you preorder it. I want a fully developed and awesome game too! But I mainly want to know the pricing, so I can see how much I'm going to spend buying it for my friends.
If the Five nights at Freddy's models are ported, they would make excellent specimens.
Although that would be interesting, the FNaF models are pre-rendered, so someone would have to remake them from scratch unless they could get the author to give up the files.
If the Five nights at Freddy's models are ported, they would make excellent specimens.
So that fox fucker at pirate's cove can tear us a new one?
So that fox fucker at pirate's cove can tear us a new one?
He would make a pretty good Scrake But are you ready for Freddypound?
I've seen some people (a gamespot preview article, and a guy on the Tripwire forums) suggest that there is too much gore in KF2. This concept of "too much gore" confuses me.
