Another thing to keep in mind is that UE4's terms for modding are really fucking stupid ATM (modders have to pay for the engine to access mod tools for a specific game) because of an idiotic idea by Tim to have a single UE4 "ecosystem" where all of the code for anything created for UE4 is in one single repository, nevermind most of the mods made for games are either maps, weapon model replacements, shitty reskins, or nude mods, none of which contribute to the ~cOdInG eCoSyStEm~. They're hoping to do something like give guest passes to the engine for certain high-quality games, but it's still fantastically dumb. By sticking with UE3, Tripwire can ensure that people can mod without having to jump through any hoops. UE3 ain't as good as modding as UE4 is, but at least users don't have to pay $19 so they can create "KF-Giantboxandemptyhalls", put their clan tag on Mr. Foster's back, or put nipples and a vagina on the Stalker.

I want to see MEAT in action so fucking bad ___ Oh sorry Paul, I didn't know that I don't actually want to see it. Thanks for correcting me. My fucking bad.
I want to see MEAT in action so fucking bad
I'm actually gonna see if i have the willpower to not watch gameplay videos for this reason. I sorta want to leave it a secret until i buy and play it for the first day.
Kf_ganjafarm_v17_fix_2014
kf-{BOS}_ganjafarm_reweeded_v18_fix_2014_beta3_rc1 is better
kf-{BOS}_ganjafarm_reweeded_v18_fix_2014_beta3_rc1 is better
Where are all the WPC adverts though?
I want to see MEAT in action so fucking bad
i forget what the name of the fps is but the meat system is based off of that game's dismemberment system (a more refined version of it actually, that game's shit is sloppy and poorly executed), so if you want to see what meat looks like in action basically watch some gameplay. hm, didn't realize a killing floor movie was being made as well http://venturebeat.com/2014/08/08/developers-killing-floor-2-will-have-the-most-dynamic-video-game-gore-system-in-history-will-hit-early-access-with-gallery/ oh wait it's called soldier of fortune: payback. the system they use is called GHOUL but it's the same idea basically. here's a gameplay vid
oh wait it's called soldier of fortune: payback. the system they use is called GHOUL
Payback did not use the GHOUL model system. GHOUL was created by Raven Software and made its debut in 2000 with the original Soldier of Fortune. This is an example of the system in the sequel:

so is that confirming it wasn't just a map and the game is now no longer in england? 'cause 'I am welding le door monsieur' isn't anywhere near as amusing as 'WELDING THAT DOAH'
Oh shit, 10 perks and 25 levels a perk? hope they do levelling better this time around, was pretty grindy and unbalanced in the first game sounds like they've nailed it with the more basic requirements though, and the perk skills sound rad
so is that confirming it wasn't just a map and the game is now no longer in england? 'cause 'I am welding le door monsieur' isn't anywhere near as amusing as 'WELDING THAT DOAH'
no it would go like "oui i am welding ze door" and your partner would be like "okay you can weld. THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!"
Oh no don't tell me they will go with the stereotypical "can't speak english at all" french accent. Fuck does it annoy me.
Blood will remain on the map.. who wants to paint the whole map red?
Blood will remain on the map.. who wants to paint the whole map red?
The question is, who doesn't?
Okay that's cool. Alan Wilson said you can switch perk traits during trader time. That's great to know. I was wondering how that was going to work.
no it would go like "oui i am welding ze door" and your partner would be like "okay you can weld. THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!"
this really really needs to be a mod
this really really needs to be a mod
Voice mods would be pretty badass in general.
Problem with KF1 was that the voices were so good that i never wanted any voice mods
I've already got 65$ set aside for any possible price the game could be, I'm waiting for your goddamn preorder tripwire, don't keep me waiting you saucy bastards.
Problem with KF1 was that the voices were so good that i never wanted any voice mods
I agree until up to the point where it's the same VA for almost all characters.
Problem with KF1 was that the voices were so good that i never wanted any voice mods
they needed some variety also more lines

I kept giggling a bit from the Tripwire dude talking, since, you know, he's one of the VA's.
Problem with KF1 was that the voices were so good that i never wanted any voice mods
Since, based on the last update, the cast from kf1 took the train to france I expected that in kf2 you would have mostly british characters making jokes about french culture (like talking about baguettes and shit like that)
I wish they did something bigger for the last update. Stronghold is cool but the other two maps are not so great. Would've been nice to have a couple new weapons, for free just in celebration of KF2.
Problem with KF1 was that the voices were so good that i never wanted any voice mods
For voice 1, I agree. But I never liked voice 2 much.
