gumming up the works, lads
Chainsaws for feet and arms. He puts all four on the ground and revs them to move, like wheels.
He is now stronger and throws chainsaws at you same way the Husk shoots at you now. He is also completely invisible if not within 2 meters from you and tries to keep a distance from players.
What...invisible? No. That's not how scrakes work >:C
We actually saw that in the first Zed trailer.
Well, it was a trailer, not actual gameplay, so I'm holding my breath.
how terrifying would it be if the scrake can ram his chainsaw in between the crack of the door and begin to saw off that glue/weld and all you can do is try to reapply that glue/weld or just watch it slowly saw it's way down the door till it bursts open
How terrifying would it be if the enraged FP just charges through it
If they made it that way, it should only be able to instantly break down small wooden doors or weakened metal doors.
Well, Scrake redesign could mean he has more chainsaws. But let's not forget what the Scrake was originally intended to be in the zed army. A medic.
New welding and healing tools. Welding isn't actually welding anymore but instead gluing because you don't weld non-metal doors in real life.
why why would you do that i dont even care about welding wooden doors, gluing them would just feel fucking retarded 'AH AM SILICONING THIS DOOR'
Well, Scrake redesign could mean he has more chainsaws. But let's not forget what the Scrake was originally intended to be in the zed army. A medic.
I'd like to see a zed that heals other zeds.
why why would you do that i dont even care about welding wooden doors, gluing them would just feel fucking retarded 'AH AM SILICONING THIS DOOR'
to be fair even wooden doors have metal hinges and locks
I'd like to see a zed that heals other zeds.
So he heals them.. .. with a chainsaw? Perfect. :v:
So he heals them.. .. with a chainsaw? Perfect. :v:
imagine the scrake coming up to zeds, sawing their limbs off and replacing them with other limbs oh god yes please
imagine the scrake coming up to zeds, sawing their limbs off and replacing them with other limbs oh god yes please
Then the Scrake just ends up killing all of them due to blood loss and the Scrake becomes an easy target because he's too busy focusing on other Zeds.
imagine the scrake coming up to zeds, sawing their limbs off and replacing them with other limbs oh god yes please
gibs the player and replaces his limbs with zed ones, giving him crawler legs with a husk arm and a saw for the other. or just straight up random ones Now you must shoot your teammate as he has no control over his limbs and is trying to kill you. His screams of pain is the lesser version of the Siren begging you to kill him. This isn't KF at all but my imagination is running wild [editline]30th August 2014[/editline] like if the scrake of what you just described can do it to other zeds.. why not humans too..? eh?
If he's supposed to be a combat medic, maybe he could have an alternate attack like some of the other zeds got. Idea: He could inject some sort of adrenaline stimulant into a zed, giving it increased speed and possibly extra damage. Obviously not applicable to other scrakes and fleshpounds. He could quickly spray some kind of mist so that he wouldn't be a sitting duck while he does it. This would come along with some gameplay/strategy changes, such as being able to determine where a scrake will be coming from because an adrenaline junkie clot would come sprinting at you from a certain direction. This would also make scrakes more dangerous and a bigger target to focus on, considering one of your most valuable assets in Killing Floor is space between you and the zeds, and the last thing you want is a group of hyped up gorefasts coming at you. They can really do a lot with this game in regards to making it more unique from the last one. I'm already extremely impressed with what they've done and I have full faith that they won't disappoint!
I had an idea for a specimen that exhales a gas that heals and buffs nearby specimens, and debuffs nearby players.
I've been playing so much KF recently. The medic class is my favorite, due to how involved it can be. It's fun juggling fighting and keeping the team, including yourself, healthy. I also love tense moments where you manage to save a surrounded team mate with a medical grenade, giving them just enough health to fight off the zeds around them and escape. Long range heals with the darts are also extremely satisfying.

I'm like halfway to level 6 but I just cannot stand playing medic. I'm just sick of teammates being dumbasses and not standing still so I can heal them, healing themselves, and standing completely still and thinking the medic can tank them. Also the medic guns are peashooters and in a lot of the games I join people barely even take that much damage.
Maybe KF2 won't have the medic glitch where you hit someone with a medi-dart, but it acts as if they're stone and doesn't heal them. "Medic why aren't you healing me wow worst medic" Ahh I'm trying dammit
One of the things I disliked about the medi-dart was how easy it was to miss. Granted that's part of the difficulty but between my teammates running around like chickens with their heads cut off, the zeds following them and me, and minor lag, it gets kind of hard to hit people consistently.
to be fair even wooden doors have metal hinges and locks
they're often on a wooden frame though, so it still wouldn't make sense to weld it.
any pics on scrake from pax yet?
any pics on scrake from pax yet?
They didn't show Scrake there. They just said that it was getting a redesign.
They didn't show Scrake there. They just said that it was getting a redesign.
oh ;_;
I can't believe we still have no official news yet. Tripwire you're killing me
I can't believe we still have no official news yet. Tripwire you're killing me
it's not halloween yet it's not even autumn yet hold your panties a little longer
it's not halloween yet it's not even autumn yet hold your panties a little longer
But they're just begging to be ripped off! I mean, I don't wear panties.
Still waiting on that game play trailer.
http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/09/04/paint-pictures-with-blood-in-the-killing-floor-2 IGN has a new videooooo
They also completely fucked up the name of the game. The Killing Floor 2. I'm surprised IGN is still a thing.
