At last some gameplay.
Im happy the trenchgun still there.
Husk ain't bad looking either.
I like how its only gore part 1
man, they really nailed the weight of the ragdolls (even though there are some slidy ones) it looks ultra satisfying killing zeds with any weapon, the animation blending too
can't wait for bullets and blades, or even gore part 2 if that's up next
the hype is fucking real for this one
also lol in the last clip of the video you can see two stalkers, one gets headshotted running past and then another one on the right tries to capoeira kick the player but gets destroyed by the grenade
so no longer just dead center of the screen?
but i love hipfiring headshots.
They'll hit it if you are standing still, crouching and controlling your recoil. I suspect there will be perks for gunslingers that limits the amount of sway your guns get while running around so you can pull off john woo headshots.
I have never wanted an early access game so much before.
Damn it Tripwire
I love you (figuratively)
How do you love someone figuratively?
How do you love someone figuratively?
love them in a non literal way, duh
how about you figuratively acquire a brain
Its a minor thing, and they're still working on this.
I hope you can shoot the lights to at least make them flicker.
It'd make indoor fighting moments so much more awesome, also plumes of smoke everywhere.

Don't think that was a trenchgun. Looked more like just a 12 gauge with a heat-shield on the barrel.

Brotherly/Sisterly Love
I'm so excited, holy crap. This is going to be great.

Most if not all lights will be destructible.
Awwww man. It looks beautiful but I'm afraid I might have to upgrade my old PC because of that.
Still, it's been about 4 years since I bought it so an upgrade is probably long overdue anyway.
Really my only gripe that I imagine will probably be changed or can be modded, is the noises made when meleeing the zeds. Both the noise the sword makes and the noise of it impact flesh.
Most if not all lights will be destructible.
I'm fucking happy then.
Aren't they supposed to release some gameplay at NY Comic-con or is the video we got yesterday the gameplay?

Aw
I just want some firebug love. Firebug alongside demo and commando are always forgotten while sharpshooter gets all the nice stuff.
Ehh they still kinda have that half life style of blood decaling onto the ground instantly. At least the decals stay permanently. The gameplay looks awesome though.

They may very well fix that before release. Especially if they're focusing so much on the gore, I don't see how they would let that pass.

Fairly certain the shotgun is a Mossberg 500. I hope it's a M500, I've never seen one in any game that isn't modded.
Also I noticed the Bullpup resembles more the "real" weapon, a (L96?) rifle.

It's probably because of the no performance impact technique they were talking about. I think what they did is write each blood decal into a single framebuffer once, that way you don't have to render the blood decals on a per-decal basis. This is cheaper than normal decals obviously because rendering a single texture is way cheaper than rendering 500, and you only really write to the framebuffer when you have to. It's really hard to say wether they can fix this easily or not.
I guess if Alan Wilson or someone from TWI show up in this thread eventually then they can ellaborate.

Are they doing down the early access path? Do we know that?
They said it would do the early access when they announced the game. We just don't know when that'll happen.
They said that early access would be available early 2015 and it would feel as if it were a finished game at comic-con
Are they doing down the early access path? Do we know that?
Guy from SA heard this from PAX back in august:
They don't want early access to be beta testing or alpha testing. They want to have a feature complete thing before they launch it on early access. The example given was complete like 2 or so perks and just a few maps and let the community speak on balances or things to change while the rest of the team is working on the unfinished stuff. Then they want to add to that every so often so that the game is still released over time but make sure that every part added is complete to the point where it doesn't feel like an early piece of shit.
That sounds like a horrible idea, if they wanted good feedback they'd release all 8 at the same time and have us rigorously balance check them.
That's not exactly a controlled environment.
A little glimpse of the playable classes in KF2.

From left to right going down each row, I'm guessing
???, Gunslinger,
???, Support(?),
Sharpshooter, Firebug,
Medic, Demolitions(?),
Commando, Bezerker
