When I first saw that video I thought my hype was stifled. Like it looked good, but I had some crazy idea that it would look better in my head. But now I can't stop watching that video. I want it. I need it. "Early 2015" can't come soon enough
it's always best to go in with controlled expectations like I had no idea how awesome the MEAT system and the animation blending looks in motion, but now I'm confident that it'll never get boring and i'll be spending hundreds of hours in this game I'm a sucker for good ragdoll and physics effects :v: can't wait to see what else is in store in the next dev diaries, shame it's a freaking month between each one that and 2015 can't come early enough
A Ranged Tank would feel awkward to have, Zerkers are so tanky that anything that is tanking with a machine gun would need to have to have more threat generation to trump Zerkers. I can see it working as a off tank but not as a Main Tank like the zerker. Maybe that is probably what it is.
I don't think a heavy weapon specialist would be very tanky, I think they'll provide heavy fire power in exchange for mobility and setup time. Basically, imagine the Commando's SCAR or other final tier weapons but with 5x the magazine size at the cost of setup time and wild recoil. Perfect for mowing down hordes of lesser specimens, can take down a charging scrake with concentrated fire but will easily be overwhelmed when blindsided by other specimens.
Weapon set-up time? In Killing Floor?
I hope we get fist based weapons for berserker, I want to punch zeds in the face watch their brains fly around
They should totally add the KF1's Fleshpound gauntlet.
The heads popping off in KF1 never got old, I can't see this getting old either.
true, but KF is getting on a bit and it always felt super janky to me, hit registering and visual feedback were super weak as well as the lighting, oh god the lighting I only realised that the head hitboxes were so fucked up just recently for example but all this looks ultra rectified and smooth in KF2 so yeah hypeage

[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3534549/dosh.jpg[/t] my front cam is broken but fuck it So that demo. God damn. The fucking shadow warrior style directional melee swing. Juggling zeds in the fucking air with auto shotties. PARRYING AND COUNTERING. I NEED THIS FUCKING GAME.
It's the L85A2, aka SA80. Luckily the game version only looks like the real thing, initial versions of the L85 jammed a shitload.
it's a L85A1, you can tell by the charging handle so yeah be REAL glad it doesn't jam sort of disappointed they didn't add a SUSAT to the L85, make it mid tier, and add a FAMAS Felin with ironsights or a red dot for the first assault rifle. but I guess they're staying true the the spirit of the first game, with the bullpup having a red dot. anyways, we know what the 4 weapons for commando will be SCAR, AK-12, L85A1, 9mm AR-15
I've been slowly stacking up steam wallet money to be ready for when the game can be purchased on steam. Yesterday I had 9~$ now I have 18$
Well you have plenty of time before the game comes out. All I need is a brand new computer.

I want a lengthy write-up either way. So detailed that an animator could come along and draw a picture perfect animation of what you describe so we can all jizz all over it.
It looked like ur mu(o)m But seriously, I'll do the best write up I can from memory when I get home. Might even be tempted to provide illustrations.
Well you have plenty of time before the game comes out. All I need is a brand new computer.
I wish we didn't. I want this now.
I must say that's impressive.
haha i've been playing the game for a while but only realised how the hitboxes worked when I watched a few video guides some months back
I wish we didn't. I want this now.
I wish there wasn't a freaking month between each new chunk of information imagine if there was smaller updates but weekly... nah maybe the hype would build too fast and overload between the updates copious amounts of speculation must be made to fill the gap
Does anyone else find it weird that demolitions seems to have almost no focus so far? Like bullets, blades and blood completely forgets about fire and explosions. But I think we can be pretty sure that the fire is going to rock, but the explosions have no hype. If I have heard this correct and there's going to be 4 tiers of weapons for each perk at release, I wonder what these will be for demolitions. Going grenade launcher, better grenade launcher, rocket launcher, pipe bombs doesn't make much sense for tier progression to me (mainly the pipebombs and the RL somewhat being the outlier). I do mind not having the game to play :v:
I don't mind waiting for updates. I do mind not having the game to play :v:
I've still got a pile of cash on stand-by for when the prerelease opens up. Pls gib kf. gib dirre tide
To be honest I'd like the demo to get a bit more of an arsenal when it comes to area denial, trip mines, claymores, c4, heck even breaching charges to detonate a door you know you can't hold anymore so you can clear the stuff on the other side, start of with underslung grenade launchers on rifles, then get your asortment of low tier peaceable explosives, Dedicated grenade launchers and higher tier placeables like C4 then the LAW. I mean Demo already does this with the pipebombs in KF but it'd be much nicer to have more choice with what goodies to use. We've all been there when a pipebomb meant for a FP gets set of by 3 gore fasts for example, having c4 would allow you to detonate it when you want.

Having some kind of trap system would be awesome come to think of it.

Shadow Warrior styled melee combat. OK I'M FUCKING SOLD.
The combat sounds like Chivalry: MW combat so far to me.
Just played suicidal with 3 people perked below level 3 I don't u nderstand how we made it to wave 9, I guess my medic skills were up to par. I had to kite an entire wave as medic with no ammo and a knife (I picked up a crossbow bu thad to save bolts for scrakes) it was an experience.
The combat sounds like Chivalry: MW combat so far to me.
It's Shadow Warrior.
The combat sounds like Chivalry: MW combat so far to me.
It's more akin to Skyrim in the control aspect than C:MW for me, since the movement buttons determine what attack are you going to use. Never played Shadow Warrior, so dunno how that works.
