So if you're a little bored of same old KF here's a new game for you to play.
Pick any map that's not Farm or mountain pass, or anywhere near as open, Have the entire team spawn in as level 6 demolitions.
Objective of the game is to be the last one standing but you are only allowed to use the primary attack of your knife, oh yeah and you have a pipehat on your head. If you get too close to 3 clots you're out, also dead.
Popular tactics include welding doors on team mates, massing a hoard and trying to run it into an unsuspecting player, or just run into a bloat at the first corner and die less than 20 seconds in.

Well that's 2 fold, map choice and difficulty settings,
On HoE clots move faster, have more health and more of them spawn, so it's recommended to do HoE. but regardless 3 clots still set of a pipe on all difficulties.
Secondly map choices make this easier or harder, God Tier difficulty is undoubtedly Ice Breaker, rounds on that finish in nano seconds, but on west London it boils down to circuits of the map and lasts much longer.

perk specific attachments as you level doesnt seem too far fetched
or even (visible) weapon mods
sharp shooter gets scopes on fucking everything, including knife and drugs

After about a week of trying to beat this damn map on HoE with stupid teammates. Now I never need to play this awful map again
Get all of the map achievements in SP. You'll be saving yourself a lot of pain.

It's also the most boring way of doing it, beaten only by the Achievement Unlocker.
Got Support to lvl6, just need Commando and Firebug now.
I think the Commando could be a better perk if it had faster weapon switch so you can still pile on damage when you run out of bullets. You can kill trash Zeds decently but you don't have much FP/Scrake killing power.
Apparently Flare Revolvers are overpowered but Firebug doesn't get a reload speed bonus.

Commando is meant to be a trash killer instead of a heavy damage dealer. and FB does get reload bonus on the flare revolvers.
Between Firebug, Commando and Berserker, I feel like there isn't enough trash to go around.

Support can kill trash and kill scrakes and fps so i find commando obsolete in ways. Also weld bonus.
support also gets more grenades
commandos seeing stalkers isnt really useful, seeing hp may be useful but most people have a strategy for killing fps and scrakes anyway

Sharp commando and support usually have more kills by 300, doesn't mean they've been useful at all.
Also withholding money from friends is incredibly cuntish.
Whenever I play firebug medic or berserker I usually hand out about 1k of benefits cheques each round.
Winning is far more important than topping the scoreboard.

HP is amazing for scrakes and the utility of seeing health has some advantages when you're doing weird HoE runs. E.g. me and my friends to tacticool runs of hoe where we only have medics and commandos. Shit is crazy fun and hard as balls. We pretty much don't coordinate our team at all most games though, so seeing scrake HP can be super useful when your squad has 2 commandos a support using only a hunting shotgun and a demolition.

Not really competitive, but it brings me satisfaction when I have more kills than the rest of the team combined as Zerker.

Don't get me wrong, i understand where your coming from, but you don't compete with other classes you complement. There's a whole bunch of factors that make the commando a great perk for a team, the easiest one being that the class is dirt cheap to maintain.

I've been playing commando heavily since the game first came out and Commando is not obsolete. Taking on a Scrake or below for commando just requires two guns, watching the health and then using full auto at the right time.
commando will be more fun to play in KF2 because of the absolute shredding you're going to do to zeds
We still haven't seen the Scrake yet, have we?

They also never run out of ammo.
I've seen berserkers run out of ammo before commandos.
