So apparently Valve is putting stricter rules to their Early Access program, and one of the new ideas is to not put a game on Early Access if it is almost finished on only there for bug testing. Do you guy think this will stop Tripwire from putting KF2 on EA? They said they wanted to put it up after it was almost finalized. I think they might have to send out beta keys outside of steam or something instead.

honestly from what we've seen the game looks pretty complete to me just a matter of bugfixing, netcoding, balance, shit like that.

I've seen pleanty of fancy-looking pre-release material for games, then saw that the prototypes compiled around the time the materials were taken are completely busted. To me, most of the screenshots released look very posed. It's telling that the first actual in-game footage we've seen with things being shot and the like have "alpha footage" and lack things like a HUD. The game might look good in preview screenshots and carefully-recorded videos, but in reality the game is far from being complete. I mean, faking something like the Meet the Zeds video isn't that hard. It could be very possible that say, the Stalker's model was just finished two or so weeks prior to the video she was in and they cleaned up animations that would look good, then have them play in a prettied-up version of KF2's Bioticslabs. However, as an actual enemy, the Stalker might've been completely broken with things like bad decloaking timing, broken animations, getting stuck in the scenery while doing her attacks, and her behavior being a copy-paste of the Clot's.

I just got level 6 Berserker so I'm finally now trying to decide what to level next. I never really played SS much and the HSG-1 feels pretty awesome to use.
Here's hoping that the blunt melee weapons can break bones like in Dead Island. And at least as nasty sounds for when it happens.

I feel like the new rules for EA, big companies that aren't going to scam the community out of money like Tripwire with KF2, will probably have a little more leeway because they're actually going to finish the project, instead of provide fake concept art they never intend on putting into the game (see stomping land)

Tripwire is big enough that that's not really a worry.
Several custom Zed names, like "Plant", "Crimson", "Mimicry", "Sick", "Bastard", and "Female", are awesome. It's like they're taken straight from a poorly-translated early 90s jRPG.

I want that Kar 98, but that's just because i play as Herman the German all the damn time. I'd also like a bolt action rifle that's more powerful than a LAR but slower firing and has a scope rather than the grenade launcher. Also i think the FB needs some love so how about a longbow that fires flame arrows for precision hits at range, high impact damage and burn but no splash or stun so you can single out targets in a crowd for a burning. And fuck it, cause i love the ww2 stuff, MG42 for the commando. Fit it in as a M99 kind of weapon, high damage high rate of fire, but expensive as fuck has say 200 rounds only with no reload and weight is 12 so you can only carry an extra pistol.
Has anyone ever survived going to sandbox and setting every enemy type to the patriarch? I've done it once on beginner with some friends but only because every patriarch eventually froze and didn't count as alive, so it turned into a hide and seek game to find the real patriarch and kill him.

Anyways all we have to do is wait for kf2 than the time will come.
I'm rather fine with not having some unlockable cosmetic character-which there already loads of-and community weapons that I will never buy to clutter up the trader screen.
