look at the scrake in the first picture, then look at the scrake in the second picture after being burned, he has a special texture for being burned it's the small details
all zeds had a burn texture in KF1 edit: for me it's the blood splatter on the weapons/that guy's face in the screenshot above that, people were wondering with all the rampant bloodshed whether the character models would get covered in blood
Jesus christ I just popped a chubby. Please for christ sake let this get here soon.
They've been doing that since the first Killing Floor...
Kinda, it's just a universal blood texture they put on everything except the lights on the husk and the FP. This time they've actually put some more effort into it. While on this subject, based purely on the videos so far I'd starting to think the enemies look too similar especially under low light. It's not a complaint as such but I like being able to tell the difference between all the zeds at a glance from distance, at the moment it's a bit tricky to do that. I mean the Gorefast especially, when you have zeds lined up so you can only see the heads the gorefast just blends in with a clot too easy. But like i said it's not a complaint, KF for me right now is kinda just formality / routine. Need something to keep you alert so to speak.
I've watched that trailer at least 20 times now I think. It might be optimistic to think there will be another video this month but that video was like a fifth the length of the dev diarys. I feel like I've been cheated out of 4 minutes of KF2 video this month.
Really glad that every character have their own hand models in first person and not something badly textured like in the first game.
Still wonder how the fuck you will aim in ps4 since playing with a controller sound suicidal
It's not like PC players are going to go start playing on PS4. The people who already own PS4s are likely already proficient with controllers. If they're willing to buy the game on PS4, they probably don't even realize how much harder it is to aim with a controller than a mouse.
Nice to see Scrake, i am interested in how he'll sound after the nightmarish revamp of Husk. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] Also a part of me is hoping for a Wyre Forest remake.
According to Yoshiro that hammer at the end of the trailer is a sledgehammer shotgun You can see the shells in there
so its the ballistic fist from fallout at the end of a stick gimme gimme
Still wonder how the fuck you will aim in ps4 since playing with a controller sound suicidal
I've been lucky enough to have been equally immersed in console and PC gaming since I started playing video games, and honestly I've never really understood why people are like "wow its so much harder to aim on a controller" if you're good with a controller, you can be a pretty fucking ace shot. Sensitivity settings have existed for a long time, and it's not crazy for someone to fine tune their controls to fit their playstyle
I'd like to see some story explanation for the new specimen appearances. My best guess is that the Patriarch is currently modifying their abilities to make them even more lethal than the previous versions.
My problem with controller aiming is that either the sensitivity is too high and I always move my crosshairs past what I want to aim, or it's too low and I can't turn fast enough to take on threats from the sides and behind.

I wonder if Jacamo did the mocap for the Scrake. I kind of want a second Meet the Zeds video showing off Jacamo doing a bunch of stuff for all the zeds, but not before anything else new is shown off, like the Patriarch or the new perks or the weapons. Is it just me, or is this a medic shotgun? [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/H5JEc5g.jpg[/img_thumb]

Looks like more like the laser gun from the video.
The moment we've all been waiting for.
Speaking of last trailer, i cant find the song, which was used in this video.
If there is a Medic Shotgun, I hiope it doesn't randomly turn into an MP7 using another gun's texture, like when you download the KF1 off of a server. :P
Speaking of last trailer, i cant find the song, which was used in this video.
collapsing by demon hunter
Is it just me, or is this a medic shotgun?
you know I've only just noticed the blue cross icon on the side you can see it even more clearly in the spinny scrake gif
Also about the Scrake, as he was created to be a perfect field medic for combat, would it make sense that he would be able to support his brethren zeds? Would this add the extra strategy needed as a player?
I can't see how he'll help his comrades with a chainsaw
Also about the Scrake, as he was created to be a perfect field medic for combat, would it make sense that he would be able to support his brethren zeds?
Probably stitching bodyparts/corpses/alive zeds together :v: Or all that to a single fleshpound.
Or just pumps other zeds with drugs to make them more dangerous?

There's also those theories where the Scrake will stitch Zeds and all that blah blah, but I wouldn't count on it until we get some specific reveal on him.

Probably a rifle or laser gun.
Another thing I love from the trailer (like holy shit they showed off so much stuff in one minute) was that doors no longer disintegrate, but now fly off the hinges. I wonder if flying doors will be able to hurt players.

still waiting still sobbing Seriously, where is the super-limited-whatthefuckever-deluxe edition and how can I throw my money at it
