Just a small question but how much money do you think KF2 will be? I'm guessing that it's like 25 to 20 euros or so.

$30 (€25, £20) seems to be what most people think the game should be worth
I voted $40 because of how much longevity I got out of the first game
Up to 60 is fine; they'll probably do what they did last time and offer alpha adapters half price.
One of the best 15 bux purchases I ever made, for damn sure.

I should go vote $60.. KF was my jam.
that black and white effect looks sweet
wow holy fuck, and I thought I played quite a bit.. I only have 326 hours clocked, this being my 2nd most played game after CSS with 1,030 hours.
500-some hours for me.
I would gladly play upwards of $60 for me. Gave me WAY more enjoyment out of any typical title that I buy.
Motion blur is pretty important to me. Glad to see it at least looks better than UE3's default shit.
It's incredible how Killing Floor came to be one of the most recognized and known Coop MP games.
Just think that it started out as a total conversion for UT2004 and took many years to update...then the creator sold the idea to Tripwire.
Still, I'll say it until I die: The mod had some kind of magic. The atmosphere was way obscure/grittier.
I would pay $70-$80 if they did some kind of special edition or something. I love killing floor.
Maybe I'm just blinded by hype or loads of money, but the people voting for $30 seem kind of cheap to me? Maybe it's just because of conversion rates but that's only like £20, a game like KF2 seems like it's worth at least £30-36 (where £36-50 is the overpriced triple A range). It's a game that's going to come out polished and most likely be supported for at least as long until they make another one.
So I voted $60. But shit yeah I'd pay anything for KF2 at the moment.
I'D PAY A MILLION DOLLARS FOR KILLING FLOOR 2

You might be right actually
Thinking about the ridiculous longevity you could get out of this game I wouldn't mind paying 1 or 2 price brackets higher, I mean KF2 to me has more value than most AAA games
Rather than a detailed narrative or complex dialogue systems or a huge open world, it's got lotsa guns, lotsa enemies, lotsa physics, and replayability out of every orifice

played some KF for the holidays to rebuild hype for KF2.
Why the fuck did they feel the need to introduce the obnoxious screen rocking on Icebreaker again? It used to be one of, if not my favorite map and now it makes me want to puke after 2 waves. Not only is it physically taxing but the screen sways left to right no matter which direction you're facing so there is no escape by way of just looking off the sides.
KF1, 5 - 6 years later with all the support it got and the 1k+hours iv'e got and still get out of it, sure I'd say that warrants £30 But that's KF1 a known quantity While KF2 is not.
Although I remain optimistic and hopeful that tripwire follow the same practice for KF2, simple fact is we don't know how much content will be with the game on launch, how much day 1 DLC there will be (how much if any DLC is gutted from the final release). I want nothing more in this world right now than KF2 to be an amazing game, to break sales and win awards and all my pessimism to be shit all over and choke on humble pie. But the gaming industry fucks the consumer over so much these days so err on the side of caution is what i say.
As a result I'm not gonna say how much anyone should pay, right now at least.
To clarify though, it looks fucking amazing right now.

It has always rocked side to side since the map was introduced, just it never worked on dedicated servers. Till now (single player had it and so did the host of a listen server).
It's not hard to counter but i understand the motion sickness people experience with it which is why it should be an option.
I would pay 80 AUD for this game, no doubt. I've paid it for games I've enjoyed far less than Killing Floor.
I'd pay 50 bucks because I'm still mad there was even a 10$ increase to games to begin with. All because Microsoft said something akin to, "due to the nature of increased cost of development with a new platform (xbox 360), games will need to be increased in price to offset said development costs." or some jazz with that tune. It's AAA quality and looks like the most mad fun I'll have in a shooter for years to come, worth the price of a top tier game.
That said, I need this like an addict needs his fix.

Lets be friends.
The fact there's no pre-order is the torturous part. Even if it doesn't come out 'till Dec 2015, I'd like to backlog it now so I feel secure there's zed smashing in the future.
That said, I rarely pre-order stuff unless I'm extremely secure on the purchase. There's often too little incentive for the risk, but I'm too hyped for KF2 to care.
Lets be friends.
Okay, but I don't share Zed needles.
30-40$ seems like a reasonable price if they going to push DLCs at the same rate as they did with KF1.
I'd gladly pay 30-40 quid for KF2. The amount of work being put into an already perfect formula is pretty great. Plus you're guaranteed to get tons of free shit all over again.
Tripwire just kicks ass in general.
I'd pay around $40 for it. But one asshole stole my Mp5 from me when I died and sold it last night.

some people have no idea what cooperative actually means
edit: I blame it on the abundance of competitive games

Play with friends
I'd only pay over $30 for KF2 if they don't push out a shitload of DLC for it again

I'm neutral towards it, I bought some cosmetic dlc in the past and more recently the weapon packs to support TW (on a sale lol)
The benefit of the DLC is that it helped enable the free content and holiday events, it's the reason the game has been supported for so long
The downsides - the implementation of the DLC into the game menus and the annoying audio adverts were questionable, I'm really hoping they don't do that shit in KF2 or at least make any promotion less intrusive
Generally it'd be nice to have more free weapon packs that permanently change the gameplay rather than a one off holiday event that lasts a few days
I feel like the point of all the DLCs are the guys thinking "We should make a sequel, maybe selling this stuff will help us more money-wise so we can create something absolutely friggin' sick"
