Support/Commando having something belt fed would be pretty sweet.
Why does Level 6 Commando only do 50% more damage with Commando weapons, whereas most level 6 perks do 60% more damage with their respective weapons? They should fix that for a start.
There's nothing wrong with the commando, stop trying to make it into something it does not need to be, it's an excellent trash clearing class and it should stay that way. Like wise, the sharpshooter is a pistol specialist already so theres no need for a gunslinger class, mid teir rifle isnt really needed either but i could back a rifle that has a slight magnification on it, maybe a .22 Lee Enfield because it fits the local (not like that matters now though).
i do like the idea of flares though, that and the paintball gun attachment someone suggested a while ago
I'm surprised we never got another boss Zed.
Give the commando LMG's
new ZEDs?
I think if they were going to add new zeds or perks they'd be better off making a sequel.
Maybe some new game modes/scenarios. It'd be interesting to have something other than "Kill all of Them" like escort missions, item gathering, get from point A to point B, last as long as you can, etc. I know it'd just make it like other games, but the core game has enough diversity to keep each concept fresh.

I don't think there is much needing changed with the base game mode, but new modes such as an official mission mode could be cool. I dunno if anyone mentioned it, but Yoshiro on the Tripwire Forums said this back on the 8th of April:
For those of you who are Killing Floor fans, we have something special planned this year for your favorite game called Killing Floor, so keep an eye out.
Something special sounds like more than a map or two.
Something special sounds like more than a map or two.
I bet for Project Calamity.
I bet for Project Calamity.
Are you thinking those achievements are for a sequel?
Are you thinking those achievements are for a sequel?
They should be. Cause I don't think we need another "Kill 100/1000 zeds" achievement in a first game. Same with "Working To Hard - Get to level 20 with any perk".
I hope Killing Floor 2 runs as well as 1 Its one of my favourite go-to games when on a shitty computer
Based on their work with Unreal Engine 3 with Red Orchestra 2, I think it'd be most likely that a Killing Floor 2 would use that engine.
considering how tripwire pretty much exclusively develops on the unreal engine, i wouldn't doubt that we'd be seeing some sequels when unreal 4 gets released.
Siren's scream with the particle system UE4 has could be quite an eye-candy. Crisping the zeds with a flamethrower as well.

Like, candleflame or something like that, the one that takes you through a minor rip off of a L4D campaign, or the one that does the first Resident Evil? Those are pretty entertaining.

They need to work on the gore for KF2 Blood decals only stay on the floor for about 2 seconds before they disappear, its pretty disappointing

Though I have like 11 versions of that fucking map and can never tell which one is the latest release anymore.
They need to work on the gore for KF2 Blood decals only stay on the floor for about 2 seconds before they disappear, its pretty disappointing
The game could probably do with a graphical overhaul, maybe some slight redesigns. The circus set looks so much better than the base game models, they should get that guy to make some new models for the FP, clot or gorefast. Those 3 in particular look a little bit dated next to their circus counterparts.
It's the weird hit detection in KF that really needs a overhaul in my opinion. It just seems really random when it does and doesn't want to let me get headshots so I said fuck it and started playing support and never stopped.
nah you just gotta get good like being able to headshot from a distance without aiming down the sights like jack burton says

It's hard to not get headshots with the LAR.
But what would it do that no other perk does from a mechanical standpoint?
It would reduce the Sharpshooter's DEE PEE ESS. The current calculations show that the Sharpshooter's DEE PEE ESS is slightly higher than other classes, so it should be nerfed to oblivion for my precious balance. :tripwireforumssay:
Dps isn't the only thing that you need, aoe and high ammo reserves are extremely important too.
That was what everyone there seemingly forgot when they were whining about the pre-nerf M99.
M99 was pretty op though considering how efficient the 9mm is on the sharpshooter, but its totally useless now.
It is totally ridiculous if you compare the cost of one M99 now with other things. An anti-vehicle rocket? 50 pounds. A M99 bullet? 250 pounds. You can buy at least five rockets instead of that one bullet.
I found the M99 nerf to be totally lazy. Instead of spending some time properly balancing damage vs. price they just inflated the price to ridiculous degrees.
Killing floor isn't very realistic though. They should make the ammo a bit cheaper and lower the ammo reserve on the m99 instead. Right now it's not possible to use it on normal HoE waves unless your teammates give you money, which is a waste of cash. And its not really viable on the patriarch wave either because you have to save most of your money up to that point to even afford full ammo.
I have tried to "challenge" myself as a level 6 Sharp and buying the M99 for (hopefully) the whole game. It usually ends with me sinking all of my money into 5 bullets, realizing how downright stupid that is, and then selling the M99 for a crossbow.
Even on HoE the M99 is still very viable with trigger discipline. It's all about how good the team your in is and how much they value teamwork over personal gain. It's not something i use because it takes some of the effort out of the game, but I'm not one to bitch is someone wants to use it.
nah you just gotta get good like being able to headshot from a distance without aiming down the sights
Zed gets too close to you, Zed jumps, Zed Zig Zags, Zed goes up or down an incline no matter how small, zed standing to close to another Zed, Zed standing next to 'That Chair' or 'That Barrel' or hell even 'That Team mate', Scrake that gets stunned and stands upright dazed, And my personal favorite that heal dart that does not hit the target despite the green puff. The head hitbox is not where the head is visually under any of those aforementioned situations, yeah it's something you can learn to counter and it's not a problem for me in pretty much every single round i play (it does fuck my 100% headshots only challege i set myself), but that does not make it fine, it's broken and should have been fixed a long ass time ago and if KF2 happens then i really do hope its sorted.
M99 works okay if you get all teh ammo drops, though on HOE/Suicidal that's not very many.
