Jeus fucking christ 47 out of 48 of the clowns are down, 1hr and 45 mins in, STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE LAST ONE!!
I guess you're not down with the clown.
Has anyone found all of them yet?
[editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
I don't even know how to close my eyes anymore.
motherfucker better not be the last boss
so i'm confused. is the steampunk weapon pack just skins, or new weapons? i'm not going to bother if they're just fancy looking versions of existing weapons.
so i'm confused. is the steampunk weapon pack just skins, or new weapons? i'm not going to bother if they're just fancy looking versions of existing weapons.
They are entirely new guns.
Gotta love how all of the Steamland servers are being used to capacity.
okay some numbers
this was tested beserker so these should be base numbers right?
the new rifle did 180/360 on a headshot, about 8.2 seconds to shoot a full mag (10 bullets)
the tommygun did 40/44, and took about 3 seconds to empty it's 40 bullets
the orca launcher did about 310~ on a hit and sometimes showed up two lots of damage from the damage numbers mod? but so does the regular grenade launcher, so I have no idea how that works
the zed thrower, it was harder to count the damage what with all the pellets, but it shoots 7 pellets just like the regular shotgun. The damage p/pellet appeared lower, but when I shot it at enemies there was a lot more than 7 damage numbers, so I don't know what's going on there. Took about 3 seconds to empty it's 10 round mag.
edit: this was on normal difficulty
the golden guns are not, though, right? just golden versions of normal guns?
Rate this post agree if you Want Community Weapons pack 2, but can't buy it for some reason.
I might do a giveaway for one copy later.
[editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
To the person who rated me funny: Yeah I'm poor, but I thought that someone would appreciate it.
Okay, whoever draws the funniest/most interesting/best whatever KF fanart gets Community Weapons Pack 2 from me.
I doubt there will be any good competition so don't be afraid to enter with anything.
the golden guns are not, though, right? just golden versions of normal guns?
Yes.
basically I can't see much reason to use any of them except the zed thrower if that damage isn't bugged, and maybe the orca for some sick 420 bank shots
crossbow does everything I can imagine using the rifle for better, steampunk tommygun is just the regular one except with 10 more bullets, but it felt like it had more recoil
also I changed the damage numbers in my previous post, I was testing them on a fleshpound forgetting they had damage resistance
Yes.
cool, bought the steampunk weapons then.
because honestly as dumb as i think paid weapon packs are, i am a terrible consumer and a general sucker for shiny things.
What's the difference between the Rising Storm Thompson and the Steampunk Thompson?
If anyone wants to see what the RS Tommy Gun looks like, I took a screenshot

It's basically the Regular Tommy Gun from the first community weapons pack, but holds about twice the ammo
[editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
Interestingly enough, the new shotgun has some sort of blowback alternate attack, which blows back zeds a little bit
Oh man the new objective map is so clusterfucky, but in a good way. THEY JUST KEEP COMIN'.
Finally found the last fucking clown Jesus Christ. I thought Hillbilly Horrors was hard.
What's the difference between the Rising Storm Thompson and the Steampunk Thompson?

And the old Thompson.
Old Thompson is the cheapest of the three but has the smallest amount of ammo in the magazine.
Steampunk Thompson does slightly more damage and has a magazine capacity between the Old Thompson and Rising Strom Thompson.
Rising Storm Thompson has equal damage to the Old Thompson but the largest magazine size of the three (as Jetpack mentioned above).
Also, you get no choice when choosing between gold weapons and their default versions. I picked up the original gold pack a while back and now I've only got the option of buying the gold variants in the shop.

Um, no.
The steampunk does the same amount of damage, I've tested it myself with the damage numbers mutator.
God damn
I wanted to play the game, but ALL servers are full. Even Suicidal / Hell on Earth ones.
It's basically the Regular Tommy Gun from the first community weapons pack, but holds about twice the ammo
That seems 100% balanced, particularly for a weapon so exclusive. :v:
I'd assume there's some kind of drawback though
Do you have a list of ingame prices?
For a level 6 commando the prices are:
Old Thompson - 269
Steampunk Thompson - 284
Rising Storm Thompson - 292
For everyone else it's
Old Thompson - 900
Steampunk Thompson - 950
Rising Storm Thompson - 975
Prices are of course subject to varying commando levels.

According to the trader info the Steampunk Tommy gun is supposed to do the most damage of the three. I wouldn't doubt the possibility though of some issue where the Steampunk Thompson isn't dealing the damage it's supposed to, unless of course the additional damage is supposed to come from its slightly larger magazine size (which would be a bizarre way of showing it on the trader screen) or it's some kind of fluke.
This is all paltry information for now, and I don't doubt people will have better specifics once they've had time to dissect everything.
It wouldn't be out of the question to say that the weapons could be doing the wrong damage, considering this is the same group of people who made it possible to have negative weight. :v:

For those who didn´t saw it yet: Some of them are inside the traders.
We only needed 2 more to beat it, and we realized this too late (10/10 round).
Only gun I liked after 1 hour of playing is the Sharpshooter's new rifle.
woo unlocked Mrs foster!
And yeah I got all the ones inside the trader rooms, we didn't exactly see where they were at, everyone just started spamming nades in the room and eventually pop we got it haha

I'm a little more perturbed that they made it so you don't have a choice between using gold weapons or not. I like some of the weapons gold but not necessarily all of them, although in the long run it really makes no difference considering they are just reskins.
Pretty understandable though I guess considering they probably diden't want people running around with two AK's for whatever reason.

arbitrary bars don't really mean anything though
I honestly don't get why they don't just put the numbers there
oh fuck off. Anyone know which trader rooms?
And how many of them are in the trader rooms. I don't want to waste any time not destroying outside ones.
I got stuck inside of the trader's room in objective mode and I just watched as people did the objective :c
