Hm, would it be worth buying the second community weapon pack for $4?
here we fucking go lvl0 firebug with the pyro skin on suicidal got us all fucking killed because that retard kept shooting the scrake with his dingy pistol [editline]5th July 2013[/editline] Tripwire should just put a warning on the >Suicidal difficulty server filters stating that you shouldn't play on these difficulties until you have a lvl5+ perk.
I bought the gold weapons back, noticed they outright replace now. Would there be a toggle in the future?
I need to get out my LVL 2 commando with a katana and pyro skin just to annoy people
Hm, would it be worth buying the second community weapon pack for $4?
sure, if you've got $4 lying around i can think of worse things to spend it on. i like the rifle and the shotgun. it's not really a must-have though.
This update has convinced me that Tripwire is starting to not care about Killing Floor. I knew bad things were coming when they first released the community weapon pack with the flare revolvers and whatnot. This update just screams half-assed.
Now i don't know if this will help any of you guys to do the objective map as things stand and i can't really offer you much in the way of how to clear the first stages because there's just so many variables in play. That said the way we did it was with 4 supports all with the hunting + shotty combo and as many nades as we could buy, 1 medic and a sharpshooter all of us level 6. The sharp sits up the back where the clown doll in the bin is and he gets a support player to cover that entire area in front and behind him. The sharp takes out the Sirens first, Scrakes and then Husks, depending on the situation the sharp can put a shot into the FP but that won't be needed. The other 3 supports stand up the stairs and they make a wall of bullets, line up the zeds so you're getting at least 2 kills a shot. The medic has his head on a swivel and deals with trash that gets behind. Now the supports all need to know how to speed kill FP's Solo i won't go into this but look online, it's not really that difficult. The problem here however is Sirens, they are the bastards that will ruin you, drop them ASAP. Of course it helps if you get a kind fusebox spawn, we had 4 of them down in the courtyard area which made things a lot easier, but that's entirely random you could get a bastard spawn up by the trains in which case you're likely fucked. Once you're through though things get 'easier' in a sense that you have more room to move about, we kept the same load out here but we traded a support for a zerk, 1 support and sharp at the back of the escort, 2 Supports up front with the Zerk and the medic is free form. Now the trick here is that the zeds priorities the ringmaster when they get close to him and will quiet literally forget about you, it also just so happens the be that the ringmaster has a fuck load more health than anyone and can last a whole lot longer than even a medic. Lure any zed you can't handle to the ring master and focus fire them when they are not going to be moving about, the medic needs to priorities the ring master here, every dart will be needed for him more or less, progress is steady enough to make sure you can get to the end with enough ammo, Kill the Sirens first they are the main targets anyone should have because they will fuck you up if they get too close. When you get to the defend stage at the end of the pier it's same deal, zeds go to the ring master if you lead them to him. the Zerk should stay as close to the ring master as he can with an AoE weapon that stuns. A firebug and a 2nd medic is handy here, lure everything to the ring master and watch your backs. No real plan here though it's pretty much a cluster fuck. The gold run is actually very easy, stay together as a unit and do the same as you did with the NPC, except this time the NPC is smart enough to go the quickest and safest route. we manages to split up at this point and got all 3 gold back at roughly the same time, compared to every other stage this was a cake walk. And then it's the patty round which can be done any number of ways, the health bar is handy though. Like i said, level 6's on HoE and we all knew every tip and trick there is in thew book, but even so we struggled and had to rely upon the NPC's mountain of health to get us through.

Both me and the other Foster are level 6 Demos, the Pyro was a Level 4 Sharpshooter, Zerker was level 1 but did a surprisingly good job, bloke must of done his KF research (Attempting to stun scrakes / attack big zeds from behind. Not sure if scrakes can be stunned on Suicidal) Guy behind the Pyro was a lvl 5 medic, off screen was our second sharpshooter.

Killing Floor came out 4 years ago, they have been updating it quite long. I am hoping that we will get killing floor 2 in a few years, on the fancy unreal engine 4
I only need to complete the map on normal and objective to get the steampunk chick. If anyone from eurolands wanna help out, send me a message.
I'm still hoping my RO2 and Rising Storm pre-order money somehow funds Killing Floor 2. Still my favorite Tripwire game. Related: This update is fucking awesome.

Did they not learn the first time? They even said that they would never do it and they went and did it with Hillbilly Horrors. The community definitely let Tripwire know what we thought about that. So what do they do? They do it again. I understand they gotta make money but this is not the way to do it.
I'd be more upset with the weapons-as-DLC thing if it was a competitive game, but the cooperative nature just makes it less of an issue for me. Also keep in mind that the DLC and game itself are absurdly cheap for what you get.
Is there anything for download to minimise explosion particle effect?

For some reason he's still scared of fighting bloats, even as a Zerker :v:
Sharpshooter with a SCAR, nice. I've had one which used both a shotgun and flare revolvers, on hard.

This is still a competitive game, you just aren't competing against other players.

If you're having trouble finding a suitable server for yourself and your friends why not just host your own listen server? That's what I always do because most killing floor servers suck/I can administrate it myself.
I'm missing an achievment or 2. Did the dolls one, the arcade, finished the map on normal and did one of the objetives achievments.
I am really, really sad that by the time my computer is working again this'll only have a day left.
The server browser doesn't found games while looking for Objetive mode servers. Any ideas on how to find them?

[editline]6th July 2013[/editline] I have also made a quick video of the steampunk weapons, I'll upload it in about 10 hours once I get some sleep.
If you guys want to try the new weapons before buying, you can always spawn them into the level through the editor. Actors -> Pickup -> WeaponPickup -> KFWeaponPickup -> SP(xyz). This works for any dlc weapon too. Be sure not to save over any of the original KF levels though, else you'll get a version mismatch when trying to play the same map online.
Does anyone else have this problem of KF crashing while in objective mode? Kinda annoying when I'm about to complete it and it just crashes
That was a really good run with friends.
Joined a server that had only 1 clown left, got the achievement for doing nothing :v:
a whole lot of newbies have started playing because of the sale, and it's getting so hard to find a server. They are almost all full, and when I finally join one it's full of level 1 guys that ruin the match. My whole team was wiped out on the first round on normal difficulty (except me) and again immediately after on the second round. Jesus.

Also fuck the breaker box achievement.
