Even during events? Well, that sucks.
Apparently they added dubbing to KF in different languages.
And apparently Italian dubbing is a thing. Too bad it seems to be horrible. Test forthcoming
It's supposed to be like in TF2, where you change your language in the Steam options. Didn't work for me for some reason tho
needs thai dub
I know exactly how that feels. I've been wanting to level Demo up to level 5, but every time I join a Hard game, I swear the team always needs a Sharpshooter. I'd really like to blow some Zeds up, but I'm so afraid of a wipe because of a rogue Scrake.
What goddamn dimension are you guys playing on
I'm lucky to get less than three sharps in a game
Well now I know what it's like to solo a wave when your team has died.
Ended up playing with a friend, someone pissed off a Scrake and it murdered everybody except for yours truly after they enraged a fleshpound and no one had given me money to get a crossbow so I had to stick with my Handcannon.
So it sounds already like I'm pretty screwed, especially since I'm adjusting back to the normal zeds after the oh so fun circus zeds. So I take down the already injured Scrake with a headshot or two from the HC. Still 63 zeds to burn through. "I should be okay" I thought, "as long as it doesn't spawn an FP".
So Crawlers, Sirens, Stalkers, Clots and Gorefasts later I'd wittled it down to just 19 of the creepy bastards with my 9mm and my Handcannon.
And then it spawned a Fleshpound as well as a Scrake and a Husk, so naturally I assumed I was fucked beyond all belief, and decided to just headshot the Fleshpound and hope for the best and, God smiled upon me, the things head blew up after it landed just one hit on me. "Holy shit I might do this" I thought as a teammate commended me for the kill. I carefully kited the zeds and picked off the remaining clots and gorefasts and such, then managed to swoop around the last Scrake and headshot the Husk. By this point I had to run away and grab some ammo and I was down to my last two mags. I did the fleshpound approach. The Scrake charged, I kept firing, my health dropped, 79, 66, 52 then suddenly blood, brains, and a dead Scrake. I finished the wave. A 6 Man Normal game granted it's not as impressive as it could be, but it was all done with just my 9mm and my Handcannon.
I ended up with £3121 and my own, silent victory.
Here's to never being able to pull that off again!
What Sharpshooter level are you? The handcannon can pull off some amazing stuff
What Sharpshooter level are you? The handcannon can pull off some amazing stuff
Level 5, so I guess it's not as impressive as I thought it was :v:

I'm level 4 sharp. What's ironic is that I play it the least, lmbo. The reason it's so high is that on the first round I allways do sharp and then I switch to whatever weapon I upgrade or just simply medic. I try to keep my skills balance so I don't train 1 upgrade weapon (after first pistol) all the time.

Fairly sure Sharpshooter is going to be my second level 5 perk. It's one of the easiest perks to level up, since getting headshots is pretty important in some cases
Jesus, started playing again after a three month hiatus and I know the summer sale just ended, but I expected people to find out they shouldn't be using the axe as a sharpshooter, especially when they're level 2.

There's usually a ton of idiots after a major sale.

There's usually a ton of idiots regardless of a major sale.
Man, i hate this bezerkers who thinks they are some kind of semi-god and start running away from the team, making you get fucked up by the tons of zeds that spawn since most of the team is in that certain spot. Also, if you want to get the last man standing achievement, do this: get a bad team (which is pretty easy to find in this days) , go on hard/normal, be a medic lvl 4 or 5 at least, buy any of the MP's and a crossbow, easy as pie.

Am I the only one that always gets paired up with fairly good players ? In 150~ hours I never got a single idiot except for that one single time during this Summer Event.

I hate playing zerker and sticking near the team, they always either:
1. Kill all the trash zeds before we can wipe them out, or
2. Shoot at the Scrake I'm trying to kite around with the Katana with their Tier 0-2 weapons.
If they need me of course I'll show up, but I do my best to clear out trash before it clusters up and swarms them.
If anyone needs cash, I usually have more than I need and just throw it around to everyone after the wave.
...then again I'm not very good and almost play exclusively on normal with my level 3 Berserker

I feel as if I can do better as a berzerker by going off on my own and taking half the zeds with me to the other side of the map, why stay with the team when they kill all the trash zeds I could take out in one hit, and ruin my scrake stuns and fleshpound juggling
Has anyone actually ever been killed by a stalker before? They just seem so inconsequential, even on higher difficulties.
At most Stalkers can lead to your death because you don't see one in time and it turns into a roadblock at the worst time.
Has anyone actually ever been killed by a stalker before? They just seem so inconsequential, even on higher difficulties.
Stalkers are weak on their own even when there are 10 of them coming at you. Usually if a guy is killed by stalkers, that is because he was distracted by something else.
I wish one could say the same about crawlers
Has anyone actually ever been killed by a stalker before? They just seem so inconsequential, even on higher difficulties.
The most dangerous thing a Stalker do is serve as a meatshield for more powerful enemies. Having an explosive blow up in your face because a Stalker ate it instead of it hitting your intended target is a real pain. If you have a good Commando, they should be dead long before they can be a meatshield.
I think Stalker's main job is to sneak up to you while you're busy, turn into a roadblock, then blind you with the screen slashing effects.
[editline]27th July 2013[/editline]
Sure the Stalker is weak as fuck, but it's the perfect distraction.

I've grown a habit to jump up before firing any of my grenade launchers to make grenades fly over the heads of any possible stalkers in there, even if they are not there.

That's how good berserkers are born man. You gotta get out there and be thoroughly sodomized until you can dazzle entire waves with your moves. When the only evidence your team existed is a pile of syringes, you gotta be the leaf.

My favorite part of being a friendly zerk that stays closer to his team than many other zerks is when people bitch at me for not being attached to the hip of the team.
I'm a zerk for fuck's sake if it was anyone else they'd be halfway across the map by now i have saved you like twelve times this round stop your bitching you cunt dghjggfwretjh

I laughed.
This is a really good game.
I'm glad I bought this, although I kind of forgot to land the 12$ DLC pack that was on sale too...
Should I get all the DLC one by one, not get them at all, or wait until a sale for the DLC?
Edit: Also is it just me or does the reload animation glitch extremely often? There are times when the character says "RELOADING!!!!" but the animation gets stuck at the idle. It seems like it takes a longer time to reload without the animation, which kind of sucks since I died while this happened.

Wait for sale, buy the complete pack (Which normally doesn't have the latest DLCs). You are going to get better luck getting the DLCs on sale in places like Green Man Gaming (They come with a Steam key). For some reason after the release of Harold Lott, all the DLCs on Steam has been only at 50% while everywhere they are still at 75%

Alright, thanks.
By the way, this game is extremely well optimized. I can run this game on my motherboard's onboard graphics card :v:

It's running on Unreal Engine 2, frankly doesn't surprise me

I have that too. Might be due to higher ping, or not. It's annoying to look at the ammo to see when it's ready during that bug, I don't think it actually takes longer to reload though.
I'm super looking forward to the inevitability that is Killing Floor 2.
