If it's that much of an issue you probably shouldn't post it.
It was a joke. Maybe I should've been more sarcastic, I guess. To be honest, it's not warez considering all of the content of the original mod is packed into KF ( that's why it weighs 24mb ) and only scripts, soundfiles and some textures are missing. Even then there's a odd chance of it not even working in the first place because it's still in beta... so.. [editline]6th August 2013[/editline]
Eh isn't that the UT2k4 mod? Doesn't the current version of KF retail and UT2k4 use the same engine?
Yes. That's why all of its contents are packed into the original KF. Most of them anyways, including textures and models. I'm gonna post some screenies soon. // Uhm shit, nevermind, my zombies don't work for some reason. If anyone gets them working, would you post some shots?
isn't the original kf mod still hosted on moddb anyway?
Yep. Why get that though when all the content's packed here anyways? It's ease of access more than anything, to be honest. You still won't have the maps or a large part of the original feeling, but you can still coo lovingly at this.

Met my first cheater on suicidal. Aimbotting sharpshooter with Mk23 heh V:v:V

http://www.game-monitor.com/killingfloor2_GameServer/8.3.28.66:28852/DOUBLE_XP__75_PLAYER__WEST_LONDON__PERKS_and_BONUSES.html# Is this server down? Yesterday I was playing and suddenly everyone got 999 ping, and after that I can't seem to find it on any server tracker page anymore.
Whats the point of hacking in killing floor. If you want to level up that badly just use SAM.
ask the guy
Just succesfully completed another suicidal run, this time with my usual crew of friends One of them turned out to be an incredibly skilled Berserker. I don't think we've ever laughed so much or cried in fear when we saw three Fleshpounds raging at us simultaneously And even with a few casualties here and there during the waves, we still managed to defeat the patriarch! God this game is amazing
http://pastebin.com/4Kp2dARA so KF keeps on crashing on me...
Seems like the mod is trying to call a nil soundfile, (LoadObject <- (Sound DoomPawnsKF.Mancub.DSMANSIT). Although when I take a look at the packaged .uax from this version, the soundfile plays just fine. Took a look at the mancubs actor script in the .u too, whats even more odd is that there's references for every sound but that, so not sure how its calling it. Mind posting/pm'ing your .u's of your mod version? Try clearing out your Cache folder for good measure too, worst case scenario you could always try deleting the .int, .u, and .ini and see how it goes from there.
My whole team died because they stood on a bad spot on Aperture, so I was forced to face off against over a hundred zeds on my lonesome. A Flesh Pound and a pack of Scrakes later I became triumphant, having dispatched the entire wave with just my 9mms and a now empty lever action. I stood by the trader with 3000 in dosh, but nobody came. My whole team gave up on me :suicide:
You obviously don't need them, the bastards.
I like it when teammates try to play armchair general, but ignore their own advice. I had a guy try to lecture me about taking out Scrakes when I was a Berserker after he tried to rambo the third floor on Offices and got his ass handed to him by a Scrake. Later on, he asked me to take out more Scrakes and kite an Fleshpound (on a public Hard server? hahahaha gl), but he happily unloaded his AA-12 into Scrakes and FPs as soon as I hit them once.
Ah. It can be quite a varied game. At one moment i'm singlehandedly killing fleshpounds... the next moment i get killed by one or two clots. Are the new weapons worth getting?

The other day, I was fooling around in single player beginner mode and blew the patriarch up by laying down ~5 pipe bombs in one area. I think the blast launched him pretty high.
I don't see any pictures :( Also, the Patriarch is pathetically weak on Solo, especially beginner
I'm pretty sure you can kill the Patty Solo within one reload of dual flare pistols, which, or all the perks, actually surprised me. Sharpshooter absolutely wrecks solo Patriarch though, all of the high tier weapons can kill him in only a few shots on lower difficulties.
Don't cal me a bullshitter, but I do recall killing the patriarch with a M99 headshot in solo
It happens in Beginner solo. Did it a few nights ago for the hell of it.
Ahahah, I just looked up the stats for all three DLC Tommyguns, I had figured that maybe the original Tommygun did slightly more damage or something, to justify it's existence. Nope, all three do the same damage, just that the Steampunk one and the Rising Storm one have more ammo in their magazine. I love it when DLC makes other DLC redundant.

Also on the topic of the standard Tommy gun and it's counterparts, once you start spawning with the AK you'll never use the Tommy guns unless you really wanted to. 37 rounds in a mag is more than enough. 13 rounds difference is not noticeable in the slightest. So i would really argue that the Tommy Guns are all redundant before they even made it into the game especially from my point of view. if i were a lower ranked player i can see your point though but the AK or the MKB is still a better choice imo.
Tripwire will fix this by increasing the Steampunk and Rising Storm Tommygun prices to 5000 pounds to encourage people to use the original one.
The sad thing is, they probably will increase the price a dumb amount. They're good early guns, but I can see them making two of three pointless somehow.
The sad thing is, they probably will increase the price a dumb amount. I like packing the Steampunk one as my panic weapon when I'm Commando. 50 rounds with not bad recoil for 285 pounds is nice for quickly getting rid of trash that gets too close for comfort.
Isn't the standard tommygun supposed to cost less than, say, an AK or M4?
Isn't the standard tommygun supposed to cost less than, say, an AK or M4?
The original Tommy Gun costs about 100 pounds less than the M4 and AK-47. For Level 6, the gap is 30 pounds. For reference, the Steampunk Tommy Gun costs 50 more pounds than the original, which is reduced to 15 when you're level 6.
Yeah, it's a direct upgrade too, it's nuts.
I haven't played commando ever because of how dull the guns feel, but trying the tommygun was a positive surprise.
I went into a small building on Farm, with one door at each end, welded both of them lightly and dropped a bunch of pipebombs in the middle. I was dicking around in SP and planning to let him attack a door, I unweld the other and run while he gets blown up by like 8 pipes. Turns out the radius of the explosion when he rockets the door is larger than I thought, and filled more than half the room. It resulted in me hearing 'ONE IN THE PIPE', spinning around to face the other door in shock as I was still dropping my 7th pipe, followed by earrape and 'Jarey blew up' Hit the roof too.
I literally shit my pants whenever 5+ pipebombs explode at once BOO*KRZZZ*M
I can't play with my friends on HoN because most of my classes are underlevel, yet I don't have time to grind. I wonder if cheating would be the right thing to do?
