In Suicidal and HoE Demo is absolutely the best at taking down FPs before they hurt anyone. The Crossbow takes four heashots to kill one, which gives him pleanty of time to charge the team and do some major damage. The M14 works, but is very risky. Two missed shots means you're fucked. Meanwhile, all a Demo needs to do is lob a grenade, hit him with one M32 grenade, throw two more grenades when he rages, and lob one more M32 grenade at his chest. It's quick, easy, clean, and gives you a lot of margin of error in case something goes wrong. If you can't throw normal grenades or a moron is attacking the FP, dumping your M32 magazine onto his upper chest does the trick, but reduces the amount of M32 ammo you have for crowd control and more FPs.
There's loads of safe ways to deal with the FP though so many in fact that they are a joke these days, arguably the biggest overall risk is the Scrake which the Demo is less than ideal against.
But a sharpshooter with a crossbow can also do a number on fleshpounds. True, it's not as much as a demo, but the sharpshooter always has fallback weapons when he runs out of crossbow ammo. Even the 9mm is deadly in the hands of a level 6. Demo has very little to fall back on if his explosives run out.
Crossbow a shit in Suicidal or HoE. M14 + LAR is where it's at. Alternatively you could use the M99 if your team is willing to contribute dosh (they won't be).
Same here. I only get pissy when teammates constantly do brain-dead things, like always set the Scrake or FP on fire or think that funding the Support or Sharp is way more important than the just-respawned Demo in waves 7 and up. I can excuse mistakes, but when you're constantly being dumb, I get snippy.
Subpar teammates is what drove me to be a 24/7 Zerker. It's the only class that doesn't need anyone else to function to its maximum potential and I like not needing idiots to watch my back.

Also, Demo lets me keep other enemies under control in case the people killing a Scrake screw up and the rest of the team has to panic and take it out. People don't realizt that it's the large enemy buildup that happens when a team is occupied taking down a Scrake that causes wipes, not the actual Scrake. The team is too occupied taking down the Scrake to deal with the large horde that built up behind him. By keeping the crowds that followed the Scrake under control, I can help prevent a wipe in case things go south with the Scrake. Gibbing the Scrake's pals gives the team enough time to reload and reorient themselves back to what they were doing before.

Nothing wrong with the demo mind, but it's not a class I miss when we don't have one. Aside from the pipes which are always worth their weight in gold, the class just does not scale up too well for Sui / HoE. of course that is just my opinion, i still love arsein about with demo. Certainly useable and when in the right hands a great deal of help, but not as powerful as it should be.
Lately, it's been feeling like either I'm doing everything for the team or I'm doing nothing useful at all.

In Hard and below, Fleshpounds are much easier to deal with. Sharps can wipe them out long before they get close. There are also few enough enemies in Hard and below that you often don't have a lot of opportunities to get the huge multi-kills that make Demo worth it. It's not useless; you just don't have the opportunities to be all you can be. I know I was having a lot more fun as Demo when I started playing it in Suicidal than in Hard.
Same here. I only get pissy when teammates constantly do brain-dead things, like always set the Scrake or FP on fire
Uhh, if you've got the room to kite them without raging, turning them crispy increases all of the damage they take by 20%. So yeah, lighting the Scrakes and Fleshpounds on fire is beneficial.

Unless it's the husk cannon in which case it's fine. Generally speaking its the FB's that dump an entire tank into an FP that was already dealt with thats the problem, but same goes for every class really.
What the hell happened to the server browser? It's been incredibly hard to find valid servers since it completely ignores any of the tags I set.
Have some Paramedic Alfred photos I found because...why not [t]http://i.imgur.com/Qv39Z5o.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/hTby5LR.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/uQZ6GBF.jpg[/t]
That moment you enter on Farm on hard, with 6 guys counting you, in the middle of the wave 9 with only 2 guys alive. People make it up, you and the rest of the team go to trader expecting the guys with something around 5k of doshs give some good money to survive the next wave. All they give is 750 :v: After we all die, the greed motherfuckers were all like "Holy shiet, you guys are so bad, fucking noobs". Ok, some of the guys were lvl 3 but WHY do you think that only 750 euros are going to help us to survive a fucking wave 10, while you had a 4.5k to share? Some of them couldn't even buy a decent weapom for them.
I enjoy helping my teammates when they join late in trader time. I made tons of cash from running around on my own. A level 3 Commando joined in with about 20 seconds on the clock, so I bought a rifle and a handgun just in case, sure enough he didn't have enough time to collect money and buy everything he needed for wave 8. Tossed him the two weapons and someone else pointed out some bodyarmor lying around. Good team.
I just run around like an idiot as berserker and dump all my money on my team between rounds with the hope that they might survive a bit longer.
I always do that, saving a little for armor or if I think I'll need a gun to fall back on later. At that time everyone had a comfortable yet small amount left, the new guy joined way too late into trader time, I still had about 6,000 to spare, so I got him some guns.
Goddamn Mountainpass is a boring piece of shit in Hell on Earth. The game doesn't spawn a lot of enemies at once and you can take out a group about half a mile before they can reach you. Each wave takes at least 10 to 15 minutes because the enemies come in so slowly. I went Demo for FPs in Wave 7, and I got more kills using an off-perk .44 Revolver than the M32. I also spent some time walking laps around the area where the bathroom is because there was literally nothing for me to do. It seems you can only get wiped in that map because you get so sloppy because of how boring it is. I played Manor after Mountainpass, and it was night and day. Tons of enemies, lots of action, and there was a real sense that one big mistake would cause a wipe.
Why is it so hard to find servers that actually allow stat progression?

I won't even play on Mountainpass anymore, I'll either ask a map vote or leave to another server.
Nevermind
So halloween event soon. Gonna guess the 3rd week or 2nd to last week of october. Unless someone knows the date of last years halloween. Wonder if the setting is in a castle or graveyard this year. Also the steam people think the carnival reskinned zeds are coming back... Don't tell me how but that's insane.
They ain't comin' back again this year For sure
Also the steam people think the carnival reskinned zeds are coming back...
I know its waaay too unlikely but I'd kill for a Pirate-themed halloween event. Having a portable cannonball launcher for demolitions, a cutlass for zerker, a flintlock rifle for sharpie, fighting zombified crew mates on a pirate ship, playing as captain long john silver collecting dosh (Or booty)... I guess I'm asking for too much huh?
A pirate themed one sounds nice. All we need now is a pirate unlockable character or something. Also every year people complain OH MAH GAWD I PAY FOR WEAPONS NO FAIR!!!. Its annoying how they do it every year and never learn. I am talking to you steam community forums.

It went from 4 characters for $1, to 1 for $5, just because they slapped "Premium" on it. (They argued that Ash, because she had a separate voice actress, was worth $5, aaaand then later made a free female character that completely pointed out how stupid it was.) including some zero-effort on their part, like how fucking terrible the robot's viewmodel was. The weapons are a whole other story and are equally bullshit.

They want US to pay 15 $ for a weapon pack. Tripwire should change for the better on dlc prices.
The only reason I have like half of the newer DLC is because it was for sale as a glitch for like, less than a dollar.

That costume reminds me; I'm still waiting for Clots to have dicks.
