Killing Floors voice codec is just shit, probably. I have people that sound clear as glass in Mumble yet sound like blended shit in Killing Floor.

Knowing how much UT2k4 stuff is still in KF, I wouldn't be surprised that KF is using UT2k4's voice codec. :v:
I love being team medic and keeping the team alive in waves 3-9 with nothing more than an MP5, gas grenades and some luck.
And then the fleshpound killed me an we wiped.
Oh well.

It is the speed coupled with being as durable as a brick shithouse. Which can patch himself up fairly quickly.
I hate playing medic because the healing mechanic is stupid and constantly fights against me.

The reskined summer zeds? I wouldn't really bet on it and I doubt the hillbilly horror event will return.
I had this [U][B]amazingly intense[/B][/U] game on Mountainpass an hour or so ago.
We were 6 people playing together in Mumble, a mix of good and bad players (literally new players or just plain not serious). We were playing on a long hard server and every round had between 120 and 240 specimen each. On some of the later rounds we nearly wiped because of mass influxes of simultaneous Scrakes and Fleshpounds, yet we kept going on with only a few casualties or so each round. Eventually we came down the the Patriarch; I bought an M99 and as many bullets as I could afford (around 14); being a level 6 Sharpshooter and whatnot. We initiated a chicken chase around the map with us taking cover in the small natural obstacles in the map (cars, corners, etc.) Eventually, the Patriarch got a [I]triple[/I] kill with a [I]single[/I] Rocket, leaving me the only guy left in the end. I had lost all ammo by then. I proceeded to run across half the entire map (from the one cliffside to the other), taking potshots and taking out specimen along the way. He didn't have any more pussy regen left, so all he needed was a few shots or so.
I luckily found another ammo crate and had exactly one shot before he would swarm me. I saw him coming and managed to headshot him right in front of me and kill him.
By far the best game I've ever had of Killing Floor. :dance:

And I haven't reached level 4 on any other perks than sharpshooter, they all are just level 3 except for firebug which is level 2

I just hit Commando level 5 last week.
I've falled quite behind on perk progression. My only level 6 perk is Medic, working towards Sharpshooter 6 and Support 5 now

There was this one point where there were 3 fleshpounds one person, he couldn't even get a word out. he was just spitting at his screen screaming "FFFffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffleeessss!FLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEE"
So people are speculating that the update is supposed to be released tuesday and MIGHT be the halloween event. I can expect this since it comes out earlier than tf2's event which is the last week most likely and if so than happy day. I wonder if its going to be pirates, a movie set, a graveyard, pumpkin patch, or Hillbilly Horror 2.
Hillbilly Horror again please. I barely saw the Patriarch Officer, and it was pretty cool.
