Literal boredom. Once you done HoE with every class and the worst weapons possible, the only other alternatives are off perk play and releveling purposefully gimped characters.

Damn last year after school the update came out with the trailer on the day and even the update page... I also remember that christmas 3 day wait one last year in which I woke up at 5 or 5:30 to play the event.

Premium Characters are getting annoying. I could understand it with Ash Harding because of the situation with Killing Floor Gold, but the others could've been packed into larger DLC character packs. Like, you could put DAR into a "Horzine Creations" character pack with a playable Stalker and Clot (just rig the existing models into the player skeleton, fix a few things since you have the model sources, and bang, new characters). Harold Lott, Mrs Foster and The Chickenator would also have been better sold in a single pack than as separate characters. Name it "Freaks of London" or something if you wanted to give them a theme or w/e.
As someone who bought DAR, i would've considered the 5 dollars a fair price if it actually had a proper voice instead of nonsensical beeps and buzzes.

Forgot to mention that, the viewmodel arms were certainly disappointing. I don't mind paying more for a single character, but they need to put more work into them.

Only skin I've ever bought is Chickenator and I kinda regret it because I'm still prefer to use original Chicken Commando.
It always hurts to see how we moved from 4 characters for 1$ to 1 "premium" character for 5$.
Also weapon packs, when they promised not to sell weapons.

Does anyone know what time to give up on a update like 9 pm est time or 10 pm est time or no ? If no news today about it than tomorrow is a must. I highly doubt they will do a thursday update since they only did this when the first halloween update came out and was pretty short until they extended it which wasn't enough.

This is the main reason that made me play Killing Floor less. The character DLC were cool to support Tripwire, after that it turned in a chaos, eventually the DLCs will cost more than the base game.
Maybe if we bought Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm they wouldn't be doing this $5 DLC. :v:
Here's an idea, don't buy it. Best way to make a point is to do it with your wallet. Personally I'm fine with the weapon packs, they've provided enough free content and fun for me to make it feel worth while. I don't really like the premium characters but for that I just wait until a steam sale.

IMO, charging $20 for Rising Storm, and then giving them HoS, was a really scummy move. I paid what was it, $40-50 for the deluxe edition, and another $30-40 for a copy for a friend. And yet I have to pay $15 for a horribly imbalanced expansion pack that was supposed to be a mod? While they can pay $20 or so less than I had to and get both games.
It'd be great if their skins were any good too, the Robot premium character was pathetically lazy and his voice was poorly implemented. Once we went from a [I]single[/I] dollar for four characters to one for $5 for literally no reason, I was openly not happy about it.
I'll just buy the new weapons and be done with it.
