Any strategy tips? I've played ~40hrs but the only strategy I've employed so far is to never stop moving (which helps a lot) along with the instant self-heal bind.

I don't agree with some of the tactics on there. It says to buy a shotgun with the medic class, when all you really need is the MP5 for the early-mid waves. I haven't played much of it, but I never needed a shotgun as a medic.
Also it says to never use the crossbow on the fleshpound. I use it all the time to score deadly headshots on it.

I'm a career Medic and I've never used the regular Shotgun when playing Medic. The only shotgun you should be using as Med is the Hunting Shotgun.
The Crossbow tip only applies to Suicidal and HoE. It stomps Fleshpounds in Normal and Hard. I personally wouldn't have that tip bc it's pretty misleading for those starting out.
EDIT: Holy fuck that guide is three years old. You shouldn't be relying on something that old.

Crossbow is viable in suicidal too if you are accurate and fast enough.

Despite being out dated, a lot of the basics in it still stand. But beyond that it's just opinions really, and i gotta say i don't agree with most of them. I'd actually suggest browsing through that forum section instead for newer and more usefull help.

Good guide: get only guns for your perk, stay with your team, hold on one specific spot, don't keep moving.

Also, make sure that you shoot the monsters until they're dead.
Is anyone getting an invisible zed bug? It only happens on non stock maps (anything but the original 5)

I said to one of them "You almost got buttfucked by a gorefast there, buddy", and died later on in the wave. As a result, I got constant insults, no heals, doors welded in my face, and repeated attempts at getting me killed by drawing in Scrakes and Fleshpounds.

Shortly after making this post, I contacted the server host, who promptly banned the fuckers.
The best bit? They were on Wave 10.

You could have just played the F2P Dawrfs game for like 20 minutes on the easiest difficulty.
Dwarfs!? is a very fun game, those kind of game you will find on a Playstation. Too bad people doesn't want to give it a try and they just cheat to get the weapon.

Does SAM still work for stat boosting? I reset some of my perks and I can't be bothered to get them back up normally.
