I haven't played since early January because my buddy lost his home so he can't do any playing. Other friends with who I used to play aren't online much either.
I really would like to get into KF again, but I don't have anyone to play it with anymore. :(
Also the last update really turned me off.

I'd play it with you sometime if you want.
The DLC is on sale on GMG.

Man... The DLC3 weapons are pretty not great.
Hold up, another weapon pack has been released?
Hold up, another weapon pack has been released?
I believe is Us vs Them pack
Yeah, the bloat thrower is... awful, the harpoon gun is okay but super buggy and does way less damage than it should, the Six-Shot Rocket Launcher is only passable on single-player beginner in a lot of cases, and the ZED 2.0 is awful other than its secondary fire.
I believe is Us vs Them pack
Oh, I thought they meant that another one after Us vs Them had been released.
Yeah, it's poop that was pooped out by sentient poop.

It is pretty much the only weapon pack which I have never seen someone use it.
They are even under-powered on Normal by the looks of it, let alone on Hard and above.
Couple that pack with the utterly rubbish Camo Reskin Pack, and we can sincerely hope that those failed packs have killed off the paid weapon packs.

I would be up for a group of Facepunchers to play Killing Floor with. I had a few blokes I used to play with through most Hard difficulty maps, but most of them stopped playing last Autumn.
I would really like to try more maps on Suicidal difficulty, but it is pretty much the least populated difficulty. Although I am only available on the weekends most of the time.
Didn't know there was Killing Floor thread
I love this game. So many hours killed.
I made this animation last month about the game

Seriously, it feels like they had these amazing ideas for DLC weapons, then went "Fuck these people for not wanting to spend $8 on increasingly more expensive, lower quality DLC", and then made the weapons super weak.
They fail in both broken mechanics and statistically. The Bloat thrower has the range of an unpumped squirt gun, can't heal, and does no damage on beginner. The Harpoon Launcher? Super interesting and fun to use... doesn't work like 75% of the time, and has really low damage to boot. The Six Shot is just useless, even though it should be amazing, and the ZED 2.0 suffers from 2x the problems the original ZED did.
At least the Steampunk weapons are effective sidegrades (The tommygun being rendered useless by the Rising Storm one, and the Shotgun's useless pushback notwithstanding). I love the orca and the sniper.
First to reply will get a dlc of his choice from GMG.

Actually, let's make a raffle so more people can have chance. Rate agree to join raffle.
[editline]20th April 2014[/editline]
Raffle's over
AlphaAgent wins. Name the dlc you want.
Dammit, why always all the raffles must be on american time zones?

Last time I checked, Estonia is in Europe and to south from Finland :v:

Sorry, I started it a hour before I went to sleep and ended it few hours after I woke up.
I saw that you are still playing KF quite a lot so if you wish I'll get you a dlc of your choice as well.

Nah, but thanks anyway. It would be unfair for the rest of the people who participated in the raffle.

Haha oh wow, cool.
Could I get community weapon pack 2? I don't have that one yet. If that's too expensive let me know.

Bloat and six shot are regrettably awful, but the harpoon is *excellent* and the zed gun 2.0 is overpowered if anything.
Harpoon destroys suicidal six man fleshpounds for 30% of the cost of the m32, you just gotta hit the fucker in the head, on top of that it's basically the m79 with 2 extra rounds and a decent drawback. I think it's excellent, and on top of that I haven't had any bugs with it at all.
The zed gun 2.0 is just ridiculous too, I always carry it as medic.
Running down a corridor, full of zombies, gorefasts on your bumb, a clot grabs you.
Before DLC: Sirens scream, gorefasts gore (fast) and that husk lands a perfect fireball, you die.
After DLC: Pull out zed gun, drop stun ball, everyone is stunned, clot lets go and you run the fuck away to kite another day.
Also it stops raging FPs in their tracks and doubles the damage they receive, in a lightweight, cheaper, more reliably package than the zed 1.0.
Honestly the bloat canister is fucking retarded as a concept anyway so I have no love lost, the only regret I have is the six shooter's knockback/damage isn't useful enough to warrant carrying it (although the 6 shot alt fire is *excellent* against sirens, husks and scrakes in a pinch)
Also funfact about the six shooter, those 6 rockets all detonate at once, and all 6 seem to trigger zed time if you kill the zed, so basically it has a 6x chance to start a zed time combo (I might be wrong, don't quote me on it, but it feels like every second shot I fire with it gets me zed time)
That said, I'd never use the damn thing above hard, it needs to have more ammo and reload faster or at least do more damage before I'll touch it.
Besides, I don't want a repeat of the flare revolvers, those are literally the best gun in the game and they're DLC only
(why the fuck are we on page 3)

This place is getting quite silent with the game not having any recent updates. So that's why we end up on a page 3.
Also, you do not need to get the DLC to test out those weapons, as you can just get them in some of the custom test maps and see what they look like and how they work before even buying the weapon packs. Helps with saving the money in the long run if you do not end up liking them.
Obviously there's ways to get them outside of purchasing, but I still find it bullshit that flareguns are as powerful as they are when your average player has to buy them to use them.
I've solo'd hell on earth up to patriarch with them. If I kited him instead of trying to fight him with AA12 I probably would have won too.
I just want the Steampunk weapons DLC :c
When the fuck did they make all the DLC's $7.99?
Even the character packs that used to be $2 are that price now.

And for some reason the Killing Floor Bundle is now missing both Mrs Foster and Community Weapon Pack 2 DLCs.
Seriously Tripwire, what the hell are you doing?
Obviously Tripwire wants you to kill more zeds before you have enough for those

Back in March, if I last recall.
I wonder what is tripwire up to, regarding Killing Floor
any news about KF2?
