I wonder what is tripwire up to, regarding Killing Floor
any news about KF2?
No news.
Is it just me, or is the lvl 6 field medic a bit too good for soloing even in HoE difficulty?
Why the fuck are there 3 tommy guns in the game, might as well just get replace the stick mag thompson with the drum mag since there's literally no reason to use the thompson over the other commando weps if you can afford them.
So after a while, I seriously used the DWARFS! axe (before was for fun moments).
Is so OP that it saved me from 2 FPs and 4 SC at the same time, surrounding me (AND WITHOUT DAMAGE).
Berskers, this axe saves lives.
*clocks*
How the hell do you beat KF_Aperture?
I've played it with all kinds of teams, without them, staying on GLaDOS' room, moving, camping on point X... to no avail. The furthest I've gotten has been to Patriarch, and even then some sirens come at the worst moment and screw it up.
How did you guys beat it?
Firebugs and Supports are your best option. Camp at front of the GlaDOS "secret room", at the "L" corridor that is near of a trader (the one that is at upper left from spawn), and at the computer room that is also near of another trader (the one with the broken windows).
Sirens can be annoying, but that's why are the shotguns and the flamethrower.
Oh hey I achieved sharpshooter lv5

Damage output is too low, enjoy kiting 10x longer than a zerk would.
Like, you'll never die, but your enemies will take ages to end

Well, I was doing the solo run with the hunting shotgun + M79, so the damage was not an issue. And it did not really take very long to kite the enemies with the ranged weapons that can take out lots of enemies at once.
I don't really know what you were doing with the hunting shotgun, but I'm not super familiar with solo hoe health, I'm assuming you double barreled scrakes in the face after you raged them, and something similar for FPs
That still seems risky and slow to me, a zerk could do the same with just a fire axe at the same speed, if not faster.
I'm pretty used to 6man HOE so I'm having a little difficulty guessing how much damage you can lay down

Yeah, I used the hunting shotgun for taking out the lesser specimens/raging scrakes when they were packed up tightly and there were no bloats or other big things in the way. And when FP was far enough with a clear line of sight, I fired twice with M79 before finishing it off with the hunting shotgun.
Of course I did think about playing zerker, but that perk is just so damn boring for me to use that I only stay as him for the first wave or two to save some money when doing some maps in suicidal/HoE before picking some other lvl 6 perk.
The damage was not much of an issue at all, as the hunting shotgun does do up to 1000 damage spikes with a body shot from an alt fire to one specimen, and up to about 1600 with a good enough headshot. Plus, M79 does doubled damage against the FP's and they usually were already weakened slightly from stray pellets + the healing smoke which was from me trying to get away from the group surrounding me.

Break-action is the best action, I say.

I can't describe how FUCKING HAPPY I AM NOW!
I'm pretty excited, I've been wanting a KF2 for awhile now. I hope it comes to early access soon, that's an instant buy for me. This is why I supported them long after KF's release getting those DLCs, so they'd be able to make a new game.

That Paris map looks enormous. This gore system makes gore from earlier games look tame in compassion. Expanded perks. More Zeds. Different behavior. Gore can stay the entire match. Even the weapon animation gets improved. We are going to mainland Europa now.
Hold me, someone, before I throw my life savings at the screen right now.
tripwire I will gladly pay $100 for KF2
I bought KF1 for 10 dollars and I've gotten 500 hours of gameplay out of it and I've enjoyed nearly every second
If KF2 is as good as KF1 I'll happily pay shitloads for it, they deserve every penny because it looks like they've fucking nailed everything and made it look beautiful in the process
KF2 will support Steam Workshop for mods. Tripwire will release a mod SDK. "That's one of the things we're very adamant about," Gibson says. "We like to prod DICE and EA on this one occasionally. They've essentially come out and said that games have progressed to the point [that they] don't believe the community can make content for [their] games. I say that's total BS. People are smart. That's selling them short. They will figure out their tools. If we can do it, smart kids out there are going to figure it out too."
Thank you so much.
Im so hyped for this!
It's here! Awesome.
So I guess that with a mod SDK and such, weapon DLCs and skin DLCs will be redundant and pointless, so no more of that?
Awww, not set in the UK :(?

You can mod new weapons and skins into first KF too.
