I reckon the DLC should be similar to CS:GO's. But instead of skins it's character models (Because they actually require some dedication to make)
I am already so hyped, I can't wait for gameplay.
I hope the healing darts get a little homing assist since it's really hard trying to dart teammates who are frantically strafing all over the place
i am throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening tripwire pls
I hope that the fleshpounds kill other specimens that get in there way when they rage, instead of just getting stuck behind them.

Goddamn I am so ready for Killing Floor 2. I hope the soundtrack blows me away. I'm a solid believer that while the gameplay is an important factor for KF, the music is the other half of it. When KF originally came out the music amped me up so much. The music -better- be as brutal as the gameplay.

Just a quick thing, I wouldn't post here unless I had to but for some reason I can't post on the tripwire forums because they won't let me register because apparently my IP has been used by a spammer (yay dynamic IP) Someone should jump on the KF2 suggestion board and tell them to add an option to make custom playlists for each perk, so you can specify Mp3s in a folder or whatever for each class. I already do this but it's a pain in the ass to switch playlist when I switch class when using a media player in the background. I just think it'd be cool.
I assume Foster and DJ Scully are default skins now?
I hope the healing darts get a little homing assist since it's really hard trying to dart teammates who are frantically strafing all over the place
I hope the hitboxes are fixed
I'm glad they made the zeds scarier looking this time around. Some of them, are pretty creepy, especially the crawler. I'm hoping they put more attention into adding bots as well.
I assume Foster and DJ Scully are default skins now?
According to the steam page Foster is a bonus for PC Gamer subscribers.
I hope someone makes a mod that adds the voices played in RO2 when you see someone die near you. Imagine the hilarity of seeing "PunkKillaMasta" get killed trying to Rambo and hear "NOOOOOOO!!!! MY BROTHA!!!!!!!" come from Mr. Foster.
According to the steam page Foster is a bonus for PC Gamer subscribers.
I thought that was only for a special version of Mr. Foster?
I picked up this game when it first came out, and I didn't like it. I was hell bent on how much it blew. When word got out that Tripwire was making another, I installed it, played a game, killed hundreds of baddies, and I must say, holy shit was I missing out for so long.

The original was kind of frustrating with things like Commando being useless and not enough firepower to compensate for pubby teammates, but 2014 KF is fun as hell and one of the best co-op games out there.
I thought that was only for a special version of Mr. Foster?
You're right. It's just a red-skin version of Mr. foster with DOSH written on his leather jacket. I'm a sucker for special stuff, so I'm gonna get the mag.

It's just not the same when you give him a leather jacket.
Here, have something in the meantime:
I really hope they bring back the old OST to go with the new one. Would give that nostalgic feeling when playing the new one imo.
The only thing I don't like is that the clots seem too tall to me.
-snip- late also would it be a bad idea to just go to a random store to buy the magazine since people will just open it, take the code, and enter is when they get home?
-snip- late also would it be a bad idea to just go to a random store to buy the magazine since people will just open it, take the code, and enter is when they get home?
Well there are some places that most people avoid (barnes and noble), I doubt anyone would be there for a pc gamer magazine but I will go to the one kind of near me or so, not a lot of people I know play pc games it feels odd.
Don't PC Gamer mags come in plastic wrap?
Don't PC Gamer mags come in plastic wrap?
At least there they don't. I can check them out in store.
I started playing Killing Floor after a long hiatus and I noticed a problem I've always had is that I feel like I'm not playing the game good enough. I'm never doing good enough. Even if I'm running around, healing my teammates and killing every zed on my screen. Every round usually ends with me having 3-5x more kills than the guy beneath me, and I never understood if that was a good or a bad thing. I'm torn because I get the most money and my teammates are always poor. I'm always having to balance whether or not I want better gear so I can kill zeds harder or if I should give my teammates money. 90% of the time I give my teammates money so they can at least get armor but then I can't upgrade my weapons, or get ammo. I kill so many of the zeds that it feels greedy and I find myself "killing the big shit" and then hanging back and babysitting my teammates while they kill the weak zeds so there's a more equal distribution of wealth. No one seems to understand when a position is compromised, either. When it's time to pack up and go I spam grenades, tell everyone to start running, give covering fire and start healing the most wounded of us and no matter what I do it's never good enough, I'm always the last man standing which puts the pressure on me to try even harder. I guess what it comes down to is when my team fails it feels like I failed as a leader. Yeah I can get the most amount of kills and do every support role but it comes down to communication being fucked up we get fucked up. I'm usually the most experienced in the groups I play with and I can see flaws in our security but I don't say anything about it and either wait for my teammates to fix it or try to myself. We get fucked up both ways because either they don't fix it and we get compromised or I go in to fix it myself without telling anyone and we get fucked up because the spot I was originally covering is now compromised. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
Is it normal to stay in one position in KF? When I play, I normally find it better to be constantly moving, then I can pick up ammo and extra weapons to sell later as I kill stuff, plus it's easier to avoid getting overwhelmed.

On bedlam to the left of spawn is a neat little L shaped hallway that you can lock down really easy and watch each other's backs. On steamland however I would keep moving in a circle and never stop because there's no way you can lock down a spot on that map effectively.

It's really rare to be matched with good random players, when I figure my team is terrible, ignoring my advices and getting chain killed I either leave or try to carry the game by getting the most advanced weapons quickly. The latter has a small chance of making it to the patriarch, by then I just give out all of my money to my teammates and pray.
