It was a long ass grind, but I'm finally level 5 commando. Doubtful about hitting level 6 [del]any time soon[/del] ever :v:
Years ago i played on a heavily modded server that had a respawn system meaning you respawned during rounds every few minutes or so, and you also regained some of your ammo at the same time and you started at lvl 6 and had to level from there. That server is now long gone sadly and i'm looking for similiar servers, can anyone help me out?
Ones i found that have respawn mutator are not so good since you still run out of ammo really quick, as the zeds are really strong and each round has about a 1000 and it's just no fun like that.

damage shouldn't be that hard if you play properly.
stalkers, just use the training map
umm how much of this is bullshit? If not, I'm going to lose it
It always works for me and I see people do it all the time??? I'm glad to see people applying skepticism to things they read on the internet, but it's true
Am I a bad person if I use KF_perky to level sometimes?
Does anyone remember the KF Aliens mod? Do servers run them anymore?

holy shit facehuggers in that mod were literally THE worst.
The WPC still runs some servers, no idea how populated they are.
There's a surprising amount of lore on the wiki (or at least very reasonable speculation), like the origins/intended purposes of each specimen, and how the patriarch was one of the pioneering scientists on the project, now mutated himself and trying to protect them.
I just posted this above you and got no agrees lol wat

Tbh, I always seem to have trouble with the damage with how slowly it goes up for commando's perk, and I tend to get myself a bullpup from the ground to kill an occasional stalker whenever I spot one. That's probably why my stalker kill requirement was filled before damage, just like how my welding points were well past the damage with shotguns (Which was also from me welding all the damn time to hold back some of the zombies while doing solo games.)
ok guys i'm really at a loss over this whole fleshpound knife thing, I swear it works, I used to do it all the time and I've seen other people do it too? But I'm looking all over the place and I can't find anything about it, it's like I imagined the whole thing. I'm not sure if I'm going insane or what

And then Flyingman was the fleshpound.

Before getting to level 5 I always had stalker requirement completed way before before damage.

People tend to overblow the stalker requirement. Honestly, if you just play the game normally the stalker count will be done before you know it.

The problem is doing it in co-op games.
"Hey guys I'm levelling Commando can you leave the stalkers to me if possible?"
"WHATS THAT SHOOT ALL THE STALKERS FIRST OK!"

Also commando became much more fun to me after getting to level 4. Piss poor damage before that didn't let me enjoy it.

Baiting a Fleshpound to attack and jumping out of its range at the last second is a popular tactic for kiting Berserkers and Medics.
But if you're going to bother using a knife against a Fleshpound, why not just kill it while you're at it since it's a well known fact that the knife is the best weapon to kill Fleshpounds with?

why would i want to take pistol only perk? besides being badass
why would i want to take pistol only perk? besides being badass
Because the pistols are pretty good weapons in their own right.
Even just as a field medic, the dual magnums are enough to easily take down all enemies short of fleshpounds and scrakes on hard.

cheap/high damage/lots of ammo/accurate
i guess
