To be honest getting invaded while you're deep in a story mission sounds extremely annoying.
Can we start a Facepunch FOB alliance? We can help to defend each other and do trial runs of our bases to see where security can be improved.
goddamn, that video got me more excited than the last one. FOB multiplayer looks amazing
and fuck yes, no more playing as masked goons, hated that about PW, but i get it was due to limitations

Agreed, really hoping there is a free-roam kinda mode where you can invite friends to dick about on your FOB, and test different stuff.
I played a lot of mgs when I was little, not enough to remember the story. like at all. I pre ordered phantom pain though, is this a wise choice?

To be fair if there weren't predefined spots you'd end up with a platform with 20 soldiers surrounding the perimeter and the whole place full of mines, I guess it's for balancing.

well to be fair it does have to be both beatable for intruders and reasonably painless to set up or modify while you're on missions

I just got done scanning Chapter 5, we're going to 10. We're probably starting at 7 EST tonight.
The sheer amount of options this game is going to give us in both the stealth and management aspects is making this a very tough month for me.
I don't know how they expect me to do any good at school with TPP coming out a week before.

Shit, I forgot that Big Boss was also in the novel. We need someone with a a good (so ridiculously over the top) Keifer voice.
Also, someone who can do a good Nixon impression.
I think I'm not going to touch FOBs for my first playthrough but the first time I'm making one it's definitely going to be a super low security facility with almost no soldiers and just a bunch of animals let loose to confuse the shit out of the invader.
So am I right in thinking you can select a direction to build your struts to make your base kind of unique? I was hoping for more customization explanation from this gameplay tbh.
They said you can build any of the segments anywhere you want but I doubt you'll be able to customize the segments themselves.
