On a less Tony related note, I really hope we get to play as Ocelot (and other characters) at some point in the game- Boss eventually sits down and plays the passive role at some point, so having the other characters be the ones going out would be amazing. [sp]we better hear that fuckin meow sound again too. For good times sake.[/sp]

i dont think we're going to be seeing ocelot act out all that much in this game. when he's out being ocelot, he's meowing and waving his hands everywhere screaming "BEHOLD" and "THIS IS THE BEST GUN EVER THOUGH DID YOU FUCKING. SEE. THIS GUN?" and being crazy is an act for everyone else. but behind the scenes i think we might see him just being normal, and a nice guy. he's probably the least crazy of everybody on mother base, probably the most capable person to be a proper leader too. but in the end, we still get best ocelot, and that's the ocelot that is always running the show behind the scenes and getting big boss and miller to do whatever he suggests. he probably wants skull face out of the way because skull face is even more manipulative than he is, except just plain evil. i swear this motherfucker is just playing chaotic neutral, and just happens to ACCIDENTALLY being really important by rolling really good performance and bluff checks.

It's not really spoilers, but [sp]considering we know she's a boss, it's probably the cutscene that plays when you recruit her (because you CAN kill her)[/sp] Also, that 10 minute Playstation Now trailer confirmed that D-Walker can still be destroyed in battle, and that you should be careful, which means that the whole "fulton your guys out of there" is still just a safety measure and can fail if you let it.

Goddamnit I just beat Bladewolf on Revengeance without taking a hit and I only got a B ranking. There's a strange glitch where in the fight, you can knock him down from 100% to 16% with a perfect counter

Should I bother dragging out my PS2 from the garage to play MGS 2?

Tony took care of them a while back, I doubt we'll see them appear. I'm sure friend list invasions are guaranteed at this point, the question is if we can set it so that we can [I]only[/I] get invaded in such a way. I hope we can do so, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

After two months of playing every single day, I have finally beat every single Kojima directed MGS game. What a ride. Ended up with a bang - rescued all prisoners and snuck up to Paz with no kills or alerts, but was forced to rush my way through the base on a truck with her, under heavy fire. Couldn't have been better if it was scripted. Now I need to rest from metal gear and finally play some other games in waiting for MGSV.
