Mother base of god, that weapon customization is insane. Those songs. They are really going all out. I was thinking a bit and I'm going to state the obvious and probably be late as well. I think the devs even said this. Big Boss is going to have mental issues so things like the horn getting bigger is going to just reflect his mental state. Only he will see it that big (maybe the shrapnel isn't even there and represents his demons and if you play a pretty good guy it will disappear).
I'd honestly prefer if MGSV stayed away from an Infamous style good/bad system. Being good=look fine, being bad=look evil is too black and white for the kind of stuff we'll see in MGSV.
Well, I had doubts since Kojima got fired from Konami but after seeing all the new stuff I'm hyped again.

For all we know we might not be able to change this progression. Maybe the events of the game will just push us to into a dark place, which wouldn't surprise me given all the info and themes of MGS5.
idk, mgs5 is about boss becoming a bad person, it'd be weird if you could come out of it having been a good little boy for the whole thing
game should just tease us with that system, but then just have the options never let you do the good thing
idk, mgs5 is about boss becoming a bad person, it'd be weird if you could come out of it having been a good little boy for the whole thing
I remember Kojima saying something that Big Boss's intentions throughout the game were going to be bad, but very agreeable in a weird way. Kinda like Senator Armstrong in MGR.
game should just tease us with that system, but then just have the options never let you do the good thing
or when you select the good thing big boss fucks up and it turns into a bad thing anyway Kaz will be lying in a hospital bed and he'll ask if you can get him some coffee, you can tell him to get it himself or if you go to get it for him big boss holds the coffee in his left hand and drops it all over Kaz because he's not used to using the arm yet :v:
I remember Kojima saying something that Big Boss's intentions throughout the game were going to be bad, but very agreeable in a weird way.
Ground Zeroes is 4.99 USD on steam right now. It's the best time to pick it up.
Guess I'll rebuy to see if my computer could handle The Phantom Pain. Specs check out, but still, I should get idea of what I'm in for. Got it for PS3, and the 720p graphics kind of suck. Kind of. Since I also have a PS3 controller set up for my pc it wouldn't be a big jump in terms of working the controls. Only thing is I didn't really enjoy Ground Zeros all that much. But still, maybe I can learn to enjoy it a bit more than I did. Main thing was the Peace Walker style stealth. I was incredibly spoiled by MGS4, so that is the standard I unfortunately hold all the other games to. Also, guys, I'm feeling inspired after this trailer. I think I might want to base my movie poster final for my photoshop class off of the theme. If Any of you know where I can find super high res MGS images, that would be immensely helpful!
Just saw a reddit post saying "imagine all of those tragic scenes in the trailer [sp]with the chicken cap[/sp] my merge
*BB shouting loudly around many corpses* honk honk
Feel free to correct me if anything seems off, but here's something I'm expecting judging from the trailers. [sp]There are several shots that look like Big Boss is killing men in similar uniforms to Diamond Dogs, or is being assaulted by them. Somewhere halfway through the Phantom Pain, I expect Kid Mantis is going to do some crazy shit to everyone on Mother Base to make them attack you. You'll have to fight through motherbase all the while having to get past your allies. Whether you kill them or manage to go through non-lethally will be up you to. Think Panchea from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but instead of random civilians and workers, these will be comrades that you have hand picked from the field and trained yourself. If something like this happens, it's gonna be heart wrenching. I hope you can't load saves so you have to live with your decisions. At the end of the mission, you go to the motherbase management screen and it shows you everyone who died, possibly by your hand :c [/sp]
Attacking a judo master or something akin with all your untrained glory and get magically thrown seems like it could be really fun.
What if someone who knew his shit around judo went for it? What if his name sounded very... feline?

I'm hoping MGSV isn't one of those games that relies on a big plot twist to be compelling. I want it to be the kind of game that gets better when someone spoils it because it causes it to build even more suspense
I hope we get a direct capture of the e3 demo right after e3. Sounds pretty cool.
The blood on the screen bothers more than it should.
It isn't blood. It's film burn. It was in GZ too

Speaking of which, they (the LA studio) have missed an extremely valuable opportunity to show MGO3 at the show floor, by the looks of things. People are stressing and panicking because of that... Thats what hype does to you. Really wish for more info.

My thinking is that [sp]the scenes in the trailers where the bodies of the dead Diamond Dogs soldiers are cremated would be the result of this. Hence why Big Boss smears the ashes of one of the fallen over his face - it's a soldier he himself recruited, and ended up being forced to kill, or at the very least wasn't able to save. No doubt he'd feel guilty as hell about that[/sp]
Just finished MGS1 on PC. Really amazing how [sp]MGS1 is pretty much setting up vital events that will happen in MGSV[/sp]. Now I'm going to be transitioning to the PS3 to finish the Legacy edition and then rotate back to PC for GZ and TPP. Can't wait!

I did the same thing back at the end of January and the start of February; finished 1-PW/GZ in two weeks. It was pretty much non-stop MGS for me. I finished MGS1 in 12 hours, with only a 15 minute break for dinner. I was hooked!
Only 3 more months guys. Has this video been posted yet?
