He has the right to whine, he's been dedicated to the series for a long time and then suddenly his supposed friend Kojima drops him without a word. All because a man who has no clue about Metal Gear recommended another man who has no clue about Metal Gear for the lead role, and Kojima wanted to live out his Hollywood fantasy.

i feel like hayter couldve at least been told about being let go from the character he loves instead of having to find out from a friend.

i'm holding out hope that at least something will happen with hayter simply given everything that has happened between kojima and konami. i'm sure that kojima has one hell of an ego (rightfully so) and that the whole spat with konami would show him how shitty it is to get left high and dry, and see who it is that really loves his work. i don't doubt that hayter hasn't been contacted. i'm just holding out hope that he will be, even in these last few months leading up to the game's release. Fuck, S ranking Ground Zeroes on Hard feels like such a load of bullshit. Enemies can see you crawling from the other side of the map and are alerted whenever I fart. I know the typical Hard mode strategy is basically crawling all the way through, but that's no fun and the time it takes will void my S rank anyway. Meanwhile everyone on YouTube sprints through the whole thing with no alerts in like 10 minutes. Fuck it.

Yeah kinda sucks how night time has like 0 difference in hard mode.

I've found that it's easier to go for Paz first and then get Chico.

As I said before my main beef with Kiefer that everything he says is semi-angry drunk slur with no range ('SHI SURVAIF?'), even managed to botch catch-phrase ('KEPTYOWAINHUH'). I don't know much about Sutherland because I never watched anything with him in it. Maybe he's big name actor. Maybe he's fucking great actor. But as of now, from what I've seen, he's basically ruining the character of Big Boss into really flat one. For instance, Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil went through several voice actors but they all managed to keep his character intact. Kiefer on the other hand took Snake and shattered him into some generic angry drunk guy. I feel like, how do I put this, I feel like I see someone who is looking and acting just like my old friend but on closer look it's total stranger. It's so alienating and off-putting I can't help but get angry on the impersonator. I dunno, maybe that's actually Kojima's plan. Ayy, just completed Metal Gear 1. Was fun! Some bullshit happened along the way (some elevators can only go one way, like what the hell?), but overall I had a good time. Hopefully 2 doesn't have that much.
