Amanda Libre's father was the Comandante Sandinista -- who lead the FSNL in their various exploits against the Contras and the CIA. Moreover, a real Comandante of FSNL, named Edén Pastora, had also achieved relative fame and preferred the title of Comandante Cero (or Commander Zero). That may explain why she was curiously absent during the assault on Mother Base.

That would actually be a pretty neat twist if Amanda and Zero were in collusion the whole time. That would also help explain why Amanda seemed cheerful when she heard Chico was captured.

So what do we know about MG:O 3? Is it going to have coop missions by any chance? Also I heard you can recruit troops but can you use them for anything, either out of the main game or in the main game?

Yo, heads up that all MGS games are on sale on PSN this week. Think I'm gonna pick up MGS1/VR missions as my old PS1 discs have seen better days and are starting to get a bit iffy with getting them to read properly.

I'm gonna pick up MGS 1 and Peace Walker since I've played neither (Saw a playthrough of 1 though).

It was sorta a theory why early trailers seemed to use punished snake as well as venom snake because they were actually two different characters entirely. Not sure how much it makes sense now, but there is definitely some importance to it seeing how that hospital trailer had kiefer voice acting and that was the first trailer we got.

Actually considering buying Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, played the demo and it was pretty good. Would be nice to be able to play it on the go.

I'm willing to be ishmael is another hallucination that BB has when the hospital is being attacked by Cipher.[/sp]

The regular N3DS suffers from some slow down in some parts (not unplayable tho) but that's alleviated with the New N3DS's faster processor. Also the additional controls help.

Is portable ops worth emulating? It looks like shit and from what I've seen (which is admittedly very little) plays like shit.
