Ground Zeroes sneaking suit + bandanna = I'm gonna look like this all the time in TPP
interesting that it's still only a 1 star though, despite having +upgrades of some kind. i guess they're separate things?
I'm guessing the more stars you have, the more fultons you'll have and that the plus signs are better chances of success.

You probably have to upgrade the fultons to handle certain cargo, so you're not immediately fultoning entire tank divisions.
I just love how the English VO is so calm and collected then the Japanese VO is all excited and "ROCKITU PAUNCH!" :v:
I assume collecting the "medicinal herbs" and putting them through R&D will result in longer lasting tranq darts?

Yep, looks like research and upgrades won't require just GMP anymore
Ya know, after reading up on Decoy Octopus, I feel like he'll show up in MGSV- [sp]not just because of a few theories (i.e. the picture of BB shaking hands with a faceless man), but because Kojima had said he had an idea in mind for a boss fight with him in MGS1, and that it'd be "an original approach." If there was ever a time to show off that idea, it'd be here.[/sp]
How is D-Walker 'stealthy'? That fucking thing roaring machinery noise would be heard from kilometers away. Nitpicking, yes, but it's kinda ruining my suspension of disbelief.

It's crouching.
Rule #1 of stealth: always be crouching
I wonder if Mother Base will have specialization. In Peace Walker, to grow Mother Base all you needed to do was make sure you had enough people in the right departments to maintain the balance. In TPP, I wonder if we'll see the ability to focus on Intelligence over R&D, or Mess Crew over Combat.
I'm going to do nothing but pick up the finest chef's from around the world and turn Mother Base into a 5 star restraunt that serves nothing but animals captured in the field.
Having some benefit to specialization would be cool, but even if the pacing ends up like Peace Walker I'll be just as content.

I think specialization was confirmed. I'm likely wrong though.
They said you can choose how to build your Mother Base in that one E3 demo, so you probably can specialize

Cardboard skeleton.

[sp]what picture?[/sp]
I want to know why people ask what order to play or watch anything in
If it's a numbered series you typically start with number 1 and then work your way forward
I'm not sure why people new to the series think metal gear is any different
Hell I actually played MGS4 first then did a mix of 1, 2, and 3, where I found jump between games when I got to a hard part or something.....then I did release order second time. I've done chronological too.
Rubber bullets, this game is a dream come through.

25:08 dong is still on the suit confirmed.
Love how basically every weapon can be used in non-lethal way, all the way to rubber bullets in assault rifles.
[sp]he might mean the pictures in your chopper [/sp]
[sp]Yep, someone pointed out there was a picture of BB standing in front of an Outer Heaven audience shaking hands with someone, with their face covered up by another picture. People speculated it was Octopus, because technically we've never seen his face (outside of video).[/sp]
I hope the bandana isn't mandatory when wearing the sneaking suit.
I can't wait to find a big hill in this game and just slide down that shit in my box. That looked so fun.
I hope the bandana isn't mandatory when wearing the sneaking suit.
We've seen it previously and the bandana wasn't there, so more than likely it's an optional thing. Notice how for that mission run in particular they didn't show us the loadout screen thanks to coming in from free roam.

I'm wondering if we'll be able to knock people out with it. Also, it looks like sliding damages the box so we may not be able to just do it willy nilly.
I hope the bandana isn't mandatory when wearing the sneaking suit.
BB is shown in other footage wearing the sneaking suit without the bandana plenty of times. You can equip a "head option" when choosing your uniform, that's probably what the bandana falls under.
I hope there's helmets and full face masks as well.
[editline]7th July 2015[/editline]
Like, it would be cool to play as your DD soldiers and actually see their faces if you want, which might be possible because they're modeled in some cutscenes.
I hope the bandana isn't mandatory when wearing the sneaking suit.
When he switched to the battle dress for the surgical strike part of the demo there was a head slot next to uniform, the bandana was probably from there
Yeah, I know the sneaking suit was first shown without the bandana but sometimes models aren't finished and closer to release they improve/add more details to models. But there is a head slot so I think that answers this question.

Honestly I would be surprised if you couldn't considering the amount of detail like every other thing in this game seems to have.

Holy shit.
Maybe we can wear Miller.
I can't wait to wear the Raidenovich mask and get crotch grabbed by fiery ghost Volgin again
Got my hands on Peace Walker :v:
should I play Portable Ops first, or?...

You can if you want, but it's not required at all for the PW story.
