Someone also modded Big Boss to be completely shaved in Ground Zeroes and he looks identical to Solid Snake.
In MGS3, should I use third person camera over the original top-down? My only concern is does it ruin the intended gameplay in any parts of the game just like first person shooting in Twin Snakes ruins the Ocelot fight, for example.

Use third-person. The areas in MGS3 are more wide open, compared to the cramped corridors and hangars of MGS1 and 2, not to mention enemy awareness and sight range are a lot more efficient than in those games. A lot of complaints about the original release revolved around the limited fixed camera angles just not being helpful enough since enemies would spot you from off-screen way too often unless you first-person checked ahead of yourself near constantly.

Alright, so it's an improvement, not a casualization. Nice to know.

Reminds me of HM2.

Who does Miller quote in the Deja Vu quiz when he says "there isn't even any sodium pentothal here"? I can't seem to remember that line.

Campbell talking about interrogating Naomi after [sp]she's found sending transmissions to the base (Gray Fox) and arrested on suspicion of being a spy.[/sp]
i was wrong uups
Got the ending where[sp] Meryl and Snake rides away in the snowscooter.[/sp]

Somehow I had the impression that the story would be meh because it was the first MGS game and because it was on the PS1. I was so wrong :v:
How much do you know about MGS2 before going into it? If the answer is nothing then you got some real fun in store for you.

Yeah I'm coming in more or less blank. It's about Snake and Meryl forming a family and living happily ever after, right...
The two best examples I could find. All of the Snakes are practically identical. They just have varying levels of facial hair/bandanna, so the similarities aren't readily apparent.
Big Boss and Solidus look different on [sp]Mount Snakemore[/sp] though. There are a few other differences, like Solid having lower nostrils and bigger ears than Solidus. Peace Walker BB has a strangely long face unlike his other incarnations. Naked and Solid look different, which is why "Solid Snake" looks weird in Smash with Big Boss' head. And I guess the most obvious is [sp]Solid and Big Boss having different (albeit similar) faces at the end of MGS4.[/sp]

Yeah, they just made a carbon copy of the sims but with only one playable family. Rumor has it Snake's cannon death involves him getting stuck in a doorless room with 20 crates and a bunch of fireplaces.
I just beat MGS1 after I managed to play it thanks to a friend. God, no wonder why is up on the best games of all times. It was revolucionary at his time, it even has mirrors, mirrors on a 1997 PSX game!
[sp]Managed to save Meryl as well, even if I thought she died, as after escaping the torture cell, I couldn't find her.[/sp]
Also, Sniper Wolf mentionated she was a Kurd, and Big Boss found her. This means we will probably see her on TPP?
Afghanistan is a bit far away from where the majority of Kurdish people are.
[editline]12th July 2015[/editline]
Though perhaps there's a segment of TPP where you travel to the middle east.
Or perhaps Sniper Wolf is a Kurdish person living in Afghanistan.
We'll find out in a couple of months.
If Miller [sp]loses his arm, his leg, and goes blind in TPP[/sp] How was he able to train Solid Snake? I get the impression that he did so because Solid Snake calls him Master.
The glasses just found a similar looking host.
He didn't train him, he was just a survival expert basically if i remember right?

He became a survival instructor for various spec ops forces and later a drill sergeant for FOXHOUND. I don't know my military well, but I don't think they'd require major activity from the individual themself, unless something happens to Miller for him to be able to continue his military career long enough before his retirement pre-MGS1.
Or Mecha Miller becomes canon.
Please let there be Mecha Miller.

And it ends up being a Metal Gear Rex prototype with a pair of sunglasses behind the controls.

Eh,maybe like Big Boss che got a prosthetic armi and a prostethic leg
Or Mecha Miller becomes canon.

Will be that way I presume. He gets some nanomachines, protheses and he's ready to go and canon again. It's the MGS universe you can recton anything and explain everything with nanomachines.

BB [sp] at the end of mgs4 is a creepy reconstruction by EVA[/sp]
[editline]12th July 2015[/editline]

it's charming
[sp]also BB's eye didn't need replacing considering that Solidus still had his and Liquid's woulda been pretty gooey, considering he WAS buried first. I think most of what was replaced came from Solidus's skin and arm[/sp]
I thought BB losing his eye would have been a big fucking deal that changes who he is but it just ends up being an accident.
Where's that comic about Ocelot wanting to light BB's cigar by shooting it, but [sp]BB rejects after a short flashback to losing his eye because of Ocelot's fuckup[/sp] :v: ?

or else it wouldn't be symmetrical.
Idk why the hell they even bothered to crop it like that anyway.
