that's pretty much every MGS cover though. And except for one of the MGS4 covers, along with ofcourse GZ which doesn't have a good cover either, they're all using Shinkawa's unique art style that really draws your eye to it.
Just beat MGS3, [sp]CQC'd The Boss like a Boss. Good god that Volgin boss battle tho, EVA STOP RUNNING ME OVER WITH YOUR DAMN BIKE[/sp] Was quite fun, kinda want to play POOPs, but the controlss.... Nope can't do it.

I just wish they had gone with this as GZ's cover. [thumb]http://cdn.wp.clicrbs.com.br/checkpoint/files/2012/08/Metal-Gear-Solid-Zero-Artwork.jpg[/thumb] I love it so much. [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] I guess mostly because I fucking adore that particular sneaking suit.
rain makes everything cooler

And it's really not a very striking cover, as far as I'm concerned. There's nothing to it. It's not especially bold, it's just boring.
If Kojima really wanted to screw over Konami before he left there is one thing he could do. If they were to use the old Metal gear solid theme... you know the old tune that wasn't in MGS:4 and onwards. It got removed because some Russian composer made a song that was almost the same before the game even came out, it got taken to court and they ruled in favour of the composer. If Kojima were to put that song back in, and then leave, we would get some neat music for MGS 5 and Konami gets a lawsuit.
It will, but you will need to research it. You will start off with a Farcry-esque healing animation in place of it before you get it.
I can't wait to pop my thumb back into place 6 times in a row due to getting shot
If MGSV ends up being shit in some areas people are going to find a way to blame Konami about it. You watch.
I only just learned that the option to have your helicopter play music when it arrives exists in Ground Zeroes lol I'm an idiot

I just found out that I may be out of a job on August 31st. I don't know where to be sad or happy about this. :v:
It's weird to think my first "real" encounter with MGS was in Smash Bros. I mained Luigi and Snake, of course I really didn't know much about MGS at the time other than what the trophies I had said; and even then I'm fairly certain I was confused bu the names. My mom at one point didn't want my brothers and I playing as Snake (beats me as to why) and I remember telling her that he's a hero, saved the world sorta spiel; though I don't remember if what I said was a reguritation from the trophies or bs I made up and pieced together from playing as him and on Shadow Moses. I remember too, that MGS got mentioned in Nintendo Power (rip) fairly frequently, and was confused there as well. Little did I know it would become my favorite series ever :v:
As much as i'm hooked to Metal Gear lately, something about Peace Walker HD just doesn't feel right. Maybe it's because i'm using the Shooter controls, or maybe something else, but the game feels so.. awkward.

I wonder when the steam store page will be edited so that it doesn't have all the appraisal for Kojipro on it. It'd be nice to just have it up to date with release information too.
This hype is getting up to bullshit level. Every day I'm having a recurring dream, or rather a nightmare of sorts. I sit it my room and I'm playing MGS5 and it's mindblowingly awesome. And just when I'm about to clear mission I'm playing I wake up and realize that there's no MGS5 yet so I scream in frustration.
What are you having issues with?
Maybe it's the real-time item/weapon-switching, maybe it's the complete lack of crawling and thus every area are open boxes with some extension to them for the sake of running/crouch-walking everywhere, or perhaps the really wide crosshairs fucking with my aiming. I'm not sure, but after playing MGS2 and 3 lately, even alternate control scheme aside something about the game just doesn't feel quite right.

Everytime I start up a game, I just play for like 15 minutes then turn it off and sigh, wishing I had MGS V.
PSA for german Facepunchers You can preorder the Limited Edition PS4 console + Phantom Pain for 429€ [thumb]http://picscdn.redblue.de/doi/pixelboxx-mss-68596973/fee_786_587_png/SONY-PlayStation-4-Konsole-500GB-inkl.-Metal-Gear-Solid-V---The-Phantom-Pain---Limited-Edition[/thumb] http://www.saturn.de/mcs/product/_SONY-PlayStation-4-Konsole-500GB-inkl-Metal-Gear-Solid-V-The-Phantom-Pain-Limited-Edition,48352,457550,2221374.html?langId=-3 It's sold out everywhere else, ebay prices go up to 600€

You'll probably find the crosshairs easier in time, after a while I found myself able to judge far-off headshots with surgical precision. The inventory not pausing the game is admittedly a nuisance though, I think it's because they wanted gameplay to be consistent between SP and MP.

I just want the GZ plates that were announced like last year. Now those were cool
Yongyea has done another massive analysis, this time all on the 6 minute trailer we saw at E3. [sp]I knew those zombiegirls had boob jiggle and I wasn't just mistaking the diseased chest as one! Only more proof that Quiet probably was apart of them.[/sp] In other news, guess what just came in the mail for me! [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CKDe0yfVAAARIIl.jpg:small[/t] Both of Kojima's collections right in my hands. Can't wait to grab a PS3 to play it throughout August.

Especially with the sneaking suit. Try using the setting where you can rotate between two or three items by just tapping L2/R2. You'll eventually get laser sights for some weapons that are just dots, but you'll probably get used to it anyways. I used to be super fast at just using the regular tranq gun and getting quick headshots across the map while moving.
Sneaking suit in PW is op as fuck, crouchwalking w/ it will make you completely silent and you can just cqc everyone on the map with really no threat of being discovered.
The sneaking suit completely silences your footsteps, you can run around with it and no one will hear you.
