However, DLC is region-locked to accounts, so if you cross-buy from another region, your console account must be from that region (i.e. you need an EU PSN account if you're importing the EU Collector's Edition and vice versa). I don't know how Xbox One accounts work, but the MGS Twitter confirmed that all DLC is region-locked one way or another. For some reason I thought that there would be an artbook in the western collectors edition and that was the main reason for me to preorder the collectors edition.

So I've been playing Knights of the Old Republic and lots of voice actors and actresses from MGS are in it: Cam Clarke (I half expected this sith diplomat to yell BROTHER), Jennifer Hale, Robin Atkin Downes, among others. It's actually sort of jarring.

i probably should get around to playing the classic MGS games fully. i played MGS2/3 as a kid but never beat them. despite that i looked super in-depth on each one with wikis and stuff. i should actually play them before MGSV Never even touched MGS1, all i know is Metul geer, psycho mantis, and liquid stuff. Played MGS4 tho and that was fun. peace walker is my favorite game of the series though so MGSV won't disappoint even if i don't play the rest of the legacy. I was horrible at story-based games as a kid till HL2 for some reason. I spent the entirety of MGS2 basically holding up people because i was too dumb to reload. I remember getting past the first part of MGS3 tho i think???

Wierd thing is i'll be that invested in the story i probably won't even touch the multiplayer for the first 2 weeks or so. Also i go away on holiday for a week and i'm back literally the day before the collectors edition will arrive on my doorstep.......i love it when things go as planned.

Fuck August is nearly here and I still haven't finished MGS 2. Still need to play 3, 4, peace walker and ground zeroes by the time phantom pain comes out.
