This doesnt really change my opinion on the matter. Yeah, Kojima was spending a shitload of cash, i understand, but Konami handled the situation like big fucking crybabies, as far as im concerned they can still go fuck themselves.
Like the metal gear series in general, there really isn't good guys or bad guys.
Ocelot's plan was pretty evil
Might want to spoiler the last part of your post. Also, your girlfriend might love this mod for GZ.
Those model swaps work better than they have any right to. Like how his thumb manages to position itself right under the lense, not obviously clipping or floating.
Ocelot's plan was pretty evil
Volgin and Tall Shortman are the only villains with zero admirable qualities and ad a result are really boring I'm holding out Skulface will be cool
Volgin and Tall Shortman are the only villains with zero admirable qualities and ad a result are really boring I'm holding out Skulface will be cool
And Ocelot's a real bastard, but he's a magnificent bastard and definitely hams it up just because of it.
Volgin and Tall Shortman are the only villains with zero admirable qualities and ad a result are really boring I'm holding out Skulface will be cool
Heresy.
Volgin and Tall Shortman are the only villains with zero admirable qualities and ad a result are really boring I'm holding out Skulface will be cool
Except Volgin was actually entertaining and was more memorable than most characters in the series. Hot Coldman was about as interesting as a spork and still remains my most hated character just because of how boring he is
Volgin doesn't have a lot of depth, but he is just so entertaining whenever he shows up. [editline]26th July 2015[/editline] It's kinda the same thing with Raven in MGS1. He's just big muscle shaman dude that likes to fight. His attitude toward Snake was also just really entertaining to watch.

He pushes a paraplegic man down a flight of stairs, his plan is to sell robots that definitely launch nukes, and then it turns out he's the mastermind behind your life's troubles. Kojima's writing at its finest.
Volgin doesn't need character development or a backstory. He's great as an electric, bisexual sadist
Night Dayman is the series lowest point I'd say, tying him into the Boss is where it crosses the line The boss's story was so perfect it needed ZERO additions, let alone some more behind the scenes bullshit is it bad that I don't reccomend Peace Walker to friends playing the series? The gameplay is okay but Phantom Pain will do it better and the story stuff is covered by GZ
Peace Walker is worth a shot, despite its flaws I love it and every fan should at least give it a go.

She's not given much development, all that comes right before her boss fight, we're not given a real reason as to why [sp]she'd do anything for the US, even though she's obviously expendable to them[/sp], and we never actually see how far her and Snake's relationship goes. All of the factors that would make her fate tragic and heartbreaking, it's not really there. She really just comes off as [sp]a mindless drone for the US government.[/sp] She really just needed more development. As for Peace Walker, you should always at least watch the cutscenes and listen to Paz's tapes. They're really good, and at this point we don't know how many of PW's characters will be back in The Phantom Pain.

If it's fun to play, you should recommend it, even if the story was shit (it isn't). Even if you personally don't agree with where the story goes, maybe your friend will. And it is therefore unfair to not let him create his own opinion. Personally I'm enjoying PW so far. Don't know if I would enjoy it on PSP with it's 10 fps, but on a big screen and smooth as butter it plays like bliss. Even the worrying at first removal of moving while prone makes it a much faster game like MGS, which is my favorite game in the franchise. Kojima wanted me to feel attached to her, but I had no reason to. Not in a cynical way, it's just everybody in cutscenes and codec telling me how close she is to snake doesn't really do it for me. [sp]Eli[/sp] dying in hl2 ep2 was more sad not because he was more developed or more bad-ass or had a stronger connection with the main character, but only because I, as a player, had personally "known" him for a long time, for multiple games even. Boss felt like going to a funreal of a best friend of your friend.
What's annoying to me about The Boss is that literally everyone sings her praises or can't believe her actions because she's a super ultra badass who [sp]has a pure intention for a peaceful world where the wars caused by politics and nations just, wouldn't exist[/sp], and even Volgin is too fearful of pissing her off even though he doesn't try to show it. It's intentionally exaggerated perfection that the rest of the [sp]living[/sp] Snake Eater cast try to live up to that [sp]causes everything to go to shit for the rest of the series,[/sp] sure, but it still feels sloppy to basically have everyone willing to explain why she's so awesome and the most we get is her handing Snake his ass repeatedly combined with extended ambiguous monologues. And she's awful at puns, too. "And then it will be The END, for the boy."
And she's awful at puns, too. "And then it will be The END, for the boy."
if you don't laugh at her bad puns she'll throw you off a bridge
[t]http://i528.photobucket.com/albums/dd330/Alsojames/Untitled_zpsktcgt4cu.png[/t] Someone doesn't like the look of Ocelot.
Fucking ocelot's meows on MGS3, they're stupid and cringy and I love it
Fucking ocelot's meows on MGS3, they're stupid and cringy and I love it
I like how he has good taste in motorcycles
I like how he has good taste in motorcycles
You're worse than The Boss
Disregarding the puns she actually came off ass a p charismatic character imo.
Affable and charismatic, sure. In a way Snake took after her, both Snakes, but I guess that's just something of a trait with those closely linked to snakes in this series. But her performance always felt a bit too stoic [sp]until the end speeches both before and after her fight,[/sp] although I guess that was the point too.
Previous "leaks" on reddit have been confirmed as fake by Konami producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi: https://twitter.com/Ken1555/status/625478309992775680
On the topic of The Boss, it bugs me how (MGS4 spoilers) [sp]Zero apparently idolised her and created The Patriots to carry out her will. Naked Snake fanboys over her for the whole game, whereas at first Zero just treats her like a colleague and afterwards when the mission is to kill her he doesn't even give a heck.[/sp]
Disregarding the puns she actually came off ass a p charismatic character imo.
She has those wise old-man eyes of a mother. Her visual design is A+++.
I never saw The Boss as an enemy despite the multiple encounters where she kicks your ass, I don't quite remember any game that does that
her voice actor did a really fucking good job on it you can just hear the fatigue in her voice
middle eastern street date is broken its been a good ride folks
already?? the game's not due to release for another 2 months or so has it even gone gold yet?
